Maybe not everyone received the comment in the same context. Trump was honoring Native Americans at the ceremony and his comment suggested that Sen. Warren was appropriating the honor of Native Americans by purporting to be one of them to gain advantage. Norwood is fine to ask that Trump not use that reference if he feels it is insensitive, but he is incorrect about it being insulting to all American Indians. I'm not convinced that Trump's intent was to demean American Indians.

As to half the country thinks he is a racist? Don't you mean half the people who believe the TV / dead tree media?
