Thanks, Jeff.

Right you are. It's a '97 GUILD Bluesbird back when they were still making them in Westerly, Rhode Island.

It's Guild's version of an LP w a chambered body and Seymour Duncan SD1 p/u's. It IS a really nice gtr, but after about four mos w it now, I still haven't quite bonded with it. I traded a much loved tele for it that I miss dearly.

Kinda kicking myself for the bonehead move that seemed a good idea at the time!

So now you've whacked both the pianist and the drummer? No doubt they're off somewhere, hangin' out and enjoying a refreshing beverage. Heck, they might be yakkin' 'bout starting a new band...

no, ted. you may NOT have one of my kidneys!

thank you.

in all seriousness....Monty who drums in that band is a ridiculously good drummer, who not only has great feel/time, but can burn at ANY volume....an all too rare quality not present in most drummers.

playing the PLANET JAZZ songbook when he's not there is a shit-ton more work and not nearly as much fun.

thanks for checking the video!
