Is is not amazing how things have "changed" both within the world and also within our perceptions ... from when we were young and all innocent. Some of you have seemed to somehow retained some of your innocence despite being and becoming who and what you now are.

Thanks to all of you who have wished me and my Family the best for the coming year. I shall always treasure having known you all even though it has been upon the "Internet".

"2017" is over ... "Christmas" is now over ... "New Years" is now over and what is called "2018" has begun ... in earnest. My "new year" began on the Winter Solstice just past. However you may measure this year it will be remembered always as being quite "different" from all the others you have experienced in your Life. Those of you who survive it to be able to "remember" it ... well I wish you only the best in the chaos and turmoil that you will find yourself in. Remember those whose warned and who were mocked, chided and insulted. Men like Slacker whose motivation is perhaps the most pure of any of us.

Life as we have all known it is now over ... finished ... kaput. What has now commenced and arrived ... what was approaching and coming ... what was warned of for so very long by prophecy and exceptional Men and Women ... well it is here. Now you mockers what will you say and ask ? No longer will you be able to ask "WHEN?" ... no longer will you be able to "state" with your false authority that "Things will remain the same".

AWAKEN FOOLS. Evil is "Ruling" and is showing itself in full view and this will increase and continue for a time. I doubt many of us will survive this "Time". Your extinction draws close ... lingering in the shadows until it becomes your "turn". I urge you to prepare yourself, your Soul, your Spirit. Worlds are merging and there is so much that we will see and experience and NEVER understand.

Yes I have been "off the stage" for a bit ... Ta Glen for your thoughts. I was making some of my own "preparations". It is good to isolate yourself from the "noise of the world" in order to cleanse and clear your head. I waited until the Last Moment to do this. From now on I and dare I say all of you, will have no time to do this, no peace, no holiday, no vacation, no R & R, no respite ... the "Noise" of the merging of worlds will see to this.

I must say that it saddens me somewhat to see the other "threads" and their "content" which are in foremost positions. We all are supposed to be Artistic, Sensitive, Intelligent, Deep Feeling and Expressive Individuals. I caution many of you ...

The Evil is racing against the clock now. They are losing control as more and more awaken. They are becoming increasingly more and more desperate. This is the most formidable enemie to face down ... a desperate one. There is a separation of the masses occurring now and this will eventually boil down to "The Good" ... "The Evil" and "The Ignorant". The Ignorant will be counted against The good and with The Evil as they are far from being "innocent".

The Southern Coast has been nefariously assaulted, the Western Coast has been subversively assaulted and now it is the Eastern Coast's turn. Despite this Evil play there are Men like Haley who simply refuse to be "broken". There are many such men and the only way to stop them is to kill them and even this has in the long run little effect for they are inspiration. Understand that this Shite will resort in their desperation to anything they can ... nukes, virus's and even Self Destruction. Humanity is under full assault and must unite and strike back in final fashion. Because likewise the only way to stop trash and filth like The Hag, The Puss Bag and The Black Messiah is to kill them as well. This has always been a fight to the Death you see. ALWAYS since the very beginning, hence the true danger of all the distraction, poisoning and mutation.

For Christmas the Lord sent me reconciliation with a guy who is a fellow Rhodesian vet and had decided I was a phony based on a TV thing I did drunk years ago. I can tell you for free I was pretty pissed off about that but I'd much rather reconcile than extend a feud and it's great to make a new friend. Our apologies actually crossed each other in the mail (email that is).

I think because I've been a violent man that I deplore anger as a tool of the Enemy. I'm fortunate that in a fuss I become very calm and can either tone down a situation or exploit the other guy's anger if it goes that far. I refuse to let any bad guys pull that on me. I'm always ready if I must be but I surely don't want to be. Lots of very smart people disagree with me but I still love my friends, no matter what.

I met this guy in northern California long ago before I left the USA. He knows what he is talking about. That is one of the major reasons I came onto BM in an obviously vain effort to find like minded musos who wished to become proactive and using music to spread awareness ... possibly waking s few up. I believe now that it is far too late to awaken enough to make any difference. The only thing left is to do what you can and to Die Well. This will be far better than doing nothing ... mocking ... saying you can do nothing and believing the Illusion that you can make it on your own or that somehow you can avoid it. Only a very few will be sucked up into the sky if it indeed happens.

Consider 'music to spread awareness:' That would suggest there are folks out there who are blanks, just waiting for someone to clue them in. Probably not.

Jefferson Airplane went from a major favorite of mine to downright boring. Country Joe was another, once they got political they blew up into a big heap of nothing. How about the Dixie Chicks, a band I'm found of - but who wants to go to a music concert and hear a bunch of political crap? I don't think folks really believe musicians and sports personalities are any smarter than the next person - look how football fans are reacting to that 'take a knee' stuff.

Awareness does not mean agreeing with you or even with me. People have formed their opinions and since I don't like left or right, I'm amazed at how much vitriol they spread on each other. Nobody wins, we all lose the way this is coming down.

Music is supposed to be art. Put politics in your music and it's like wasting your time and talent. Let the art speak for itself - if it changes minds so much the better but if that is your aim you will spend your talent preaching to folks who always agree with you anyway. Who gains?

I spent four years writing for lewRockwell.com which is a libertarian web site. I still have a few followers left over from that and I'm glad of it since they continue to read my non political blatherings. But did I change any minds? Maybe a few but mostly it was folks who were inclined to agree with me anyway.

I had certain advantages since some folks would listen to a cry for peace coming from a combat vet. Yet a satirical piece I wrote stating imaginary reasons (much like the govt) for invading Iraq got favorable responses from a number of people (including a school teacher!) thanking me for pointing out the necessity for war!
(for the record, Iraqi Marines are not assembling in the waters off Long Beach CA!)

After seventy columns I felt I'd said what I had to say and that was that for me. My music is the songs the Lord throws my way. Only that, and usually from the perspective a character other than me. Who cares what I think, they just want an entertaining song.
