I was into them heavily, but definitely, not exclusively back around 68!
They are nothin' less then the progenitors of Heavy metal as we know it.
Yeah , I know the Cream and The Who And the Jimi Hendrix Experience, (all formidable power trios, singers don't count here) , predated them by a few years, but when my ol' "Lost Minds" drummer and myself first heard the Cheer blastin' out of the ol' 58 Corvette tube powered radio, It was like the "clarion call' of a new age.
