Hi guys, my name's Lucy, I'm a vocalist (27) .. currently in Suffolk. Been working as a singer for 11 yrs now in all sorts of line ups from solist/duo/6piece.. doing covers. I like all sorts of music.. esp. soft rock (Journey and Whitesnake are my faves) and to perform, 60's /70's or anything a bit gutsy. Been a member of Bandmix for ages but only stumbled across the forum today... so HI! xx

Find an OLE kodger (like me)from that gen.who still thinks and feels like HE's 27 and you'll be on your way..

howdy guys, my name is chris and i'm a stay-at-home musician...i like heavy metal, ambient/psychedelic rock, and general experimental music...i play guitar, both electric and acoustic, and i've become quite addicted to logic express and my podxt...makes songwriting with drums so much easier...i'm going to school at georgia southern in statesboro, georgia so a band is the last thing i need to be a part of right now...however, i felt it might do me some good to put what i have out there...one song is one my page right now because it's the most recent, but i have a large catalog spanning about 4 years tucked away in my computer...anyways, good to be here and i hope i end up frequenting this place

thanks dude, hey I don't know man, I just started out ( have been making music in the dustrooms of course for a lot longer) but I am just checking out many sites and what not. Seems as though my ambitions keep changing still. I came out here ion bandmix to try and put together a band and I still really want to. But now I work with a metronome (hahaha soo much f**k fun...brrr) and some music software to try and get my frist audio up, solo and with zero budget. Oh, my vocals are improving as well, I gave up smoking.
I hope to be able to show my own songmaterial ( insanely in love and crazy and f**k up and happy and everything kinda catchy stuff, I hope). My voice gets to be a little more closer to Cyndi Lauper's...becasue now I am breathing much better. I'll let you know. xxxoxo
Cool, I really appreciated your sweet comments, you're cool.

Hey I am not sure if you are talking to me, but I do have some original stuff, none of my best stuff though, but I do have some songs out in you tube http://www.youtube.com/yanetzin those recordings being live, one take quick fixes I know there are some imperfectionsand I desperately wanna re-record them,, since tpday already i would do it much better. Theya ctually suck a bit but if you do wanna see the songs ...
I am making so much progress since I am doing my breathing exercises I am sorta peasantly surprised myself with teh difference compared to those recpordings, they are no fair representation anymore but i'll have to do with those for now
Actually maybe wait till my new stuff is up. I haev over 40 songs and most of them are catchy.
in case you were not talking to me haha ( LONELY GUN check out that song dude ( on my youtube), kinda tough guy for a little chick)
anyway were you not taking to me a I bow down in humility I am a little self consumed hihihi and I got one more free relevant post!
I got people here interested in me, but I really want to work harder to really be prepared so I can dive into the studio and do gigs here in L.A.
Metronome!! RULEZ hahaha
and my first audio will probably be solo acoustci and my keyboards and some music software...so exciting
(my boyfriend is quite somebody in the music bizz, but I am sooo proud to say I am really doing it all by myself....he manages singhers and does itw ell, but no more girlfriends, sinc ethis always f**k up his relationships and I am happy to show him I got some brains of my own..duh...green like grass sometimes hihi
bye LOve and peace..

Well, I guess I should introduce myself! :) I've posted here several times but haven't really done the formalities, so...

My name is Erica and I am a happily married almost 30 y/o mom to 4 boys, ages: 7, 5 1/2, 3 1/2 & 19 months. :) I have been in both music & drama since I was very young...played flute & piccolo for years and sang independantly & in choirs. I did the typical teenager thing of drugs n' rock n' roll and dropped out of myself for a time. So now that my husband, 34 y/o guitar player and I have these boys, we are NOT a sports team, we are a BAND! So we are teaching them! One is a singer - like his mom :D - one loves lead guitar and one is taking to bass...no drums yet! But the baby has an uncanny sense of rythym...so, I work at home during the week, work outside the home sometimes as a Nurse's Aide, take care of my man & little ones and work on my vocals throughout my day! 8)

lol Yeah, John, that's one way we noticed his rythym! :) (I will always have memories of setting my babies up on the kitchen floor so I could wash dishes & they could bang 'em! 8) ) I'm working on the recording a bit more...it's a lot to wrap your head around! And I told hubby to get on here too so hopefully we'll see him around soon! Thanks for the welcome. :D

Well, then let me introduce myself. Name's Kyle Teague, my friends call me Dev. I've been making music my whole life, and currently focus on writing lyrics, doin vocals and playing lead guitar. I'm a free thinker, open-minded, ever-curious, and I loves me some metal... What more can I say?

Here's to all the metal-heads out there, bust open a cold one and take a deep swig for me, and if you are in the market for a guitarist, take a look-see at my page here on bandmix. Here's to you!
