Let me explain one thing... I LOVE all the people that get involved with this site.

I HAVE MET and INTERACTED with SOME of the GREATEST MUSICIANS in the WORLD, because of this site. On this site, and because of this site. Yes I'm talking about such a long list of great musicians that have shared some GREAT MUSIC here! That includes you DAYNE. Don't put your guitar down. You play just as good as me. All the musicians that posted after you are incredible people and awesome musicians, and artists from all walks of life, and different talents.
I don't know if I can explain it properly... Vamp is such a good writer.... There is a history of his that is incredible. We have never covered it, but that is one of the talents of his. Even Mark and Mike are very talented people. I could go on.... Including you Dayne.

Sorry for rambling. Let me move on.

they say to never dig up bones, but the psychological shock some musicians must be experiencing hearing you killing it Glen.. you never saw me once ever say anything about "don't have music on your player you must not be real", but I have heard that from more than one here, don't know why people seem to think without music up you have no validity.. same goes with "if you ain't gigging you are a nobody" I have heard here numerous times, mentality, that's utter hogwash .does gigging over 300 times from 1981 to 1984 count? . can't wait for the jazz residents to weigh in on your great playing, it will be good .. I'll get the popcorn ready and will be waiting .. they were really set on their "beliefs" and now must eat crow..

That sounded real good, Glen. I like they way you put it all together. I wasn't sure how to get to hear it. I was thinking that the profile was the web page since I never bothered to hit the link. Surprise surprise. I'm glad Dayne posted that because it inspired me to search for it. Now I can change my music when I want to.

I can't even set up stuff at YouTube because the instructions are for shiit, I keep thinking "well maybe this is where I have to go to edit".... and then I'm on a wild assed goose chase until I end up back where the hell I started without ever finding where I needed to go to do whatever I had to do. Shouldn't there just be a button for that?

One of my videos was put up by a guy at a now long defunct forum so I can't link them. So the forum has control over it even though it no longer exists. Yup. I really do dig the digital age... now if we could all only think like programmers who write stuff to their perspective instead of for the average person who has to use it.

I bought this really cool drum machine. I thought I would just dial up what I wanted or something pretty close so I could jam with it. Too bad the instruction book is bigger than our telephone book. I just threw it into the closet and it's been there for years. I just wanted to play music.. not be a drummer.

Hey Dayne... Thank you. I just realized why I keep spending time on band mix. I love you people. We fight like crazy, we insult each other, and even attack the very soul of our reason for spending a word up here.
I just pulled my old guitar off the basement shelf. A very old friend. After I blow the dust off the case I'll let you know if I have the courage to open it again... DAYNE... Thanks for sharing some of your wisdom with a few kind words...

that said...i always find it sad when musicians stoop to silly competitive back biting, reducing musical prowess and chops to a "contest"....making it all about who is "better"....

.....whose version of a song is better...etc. To me, that smacks of immaturity, and worse when that "competition" aspect is bandied about w the purpose of driving a wedge between the musicians here.

dayne you tried that silliness w jook and i w regards to some chord progression that folks submitted their version of. that was pretty lame and did not have the desired effect of driving a wedge between us. it only showed you to be small, petty, and vindictive.

and now, bringing ME into this when this should be about nothing but GLEN....HIS TUNE.....HIS PLAYING???????? ......that's both sad and weak. shame on you. i'm embarrassed for you.

I never understood why somebody could jump to the conclusion that they are not a musician player simply because they do not choose to reveal everything about themselves.. same goes for Memphis Agent, it will be hilarious the day you find out he is in reality Alice Cooper and was just messing around with you by posting what you consistently say is worthless music of low quality..who are you to judge?
