Greetings all! We're UNCALLED4OUR, a Native-American power trio that plays original rock/jazz instrumentals. We're new here, so please forgive us for the sudden unannounced "knock" at the door... We have a couple of songs from our new full-length CD entitled "Kick Rocks" here for anyone who might be interested in something just off the beaten path.

We Thank one and all, in advance, for stopping by!

Peace.

Nice clean recording guys heavy unusuall style. Kind of has a jazz flavor to me, like something from Chic Chorea.
Welcome to Bandmix.
Was up in OK last month beautiful country side along the east boarder.

Interesting stuff.

The opening strains put me to mind of the electronic tones from the soundtrack of the 1957 classic sci-fi movie "Forbidden Planet".

I then perceived some sequential riffs and glissendo reminiscent of early 70's synthesizer music.

Not the kind of sound one expects from a power trio.

All in all , I like it , and it seems to me the kind of stuff that would "grow on you" the more you listen.

Thanks for posting,
Howlin'

Thanks to all for the kind words! We're hoping to acquire diverse avenues for this music; Live performance (we sound "heavier" live), film/t.v. placement, etc... What we're attempting to do is make sure that, what one hears can be reproduced live (especially on our budget  ) so it's simply Drums, Guitar, and Bass.

We hope all will keep listening, as will we...

Sanshouheil!

Next time youse guys are up this way (N.E. Oklahoma), hit us up! We'll jam AND THEN we'll go "guerilla fishing"!

Peace!

Wow,

When I was in college there were 4 or 5 bands that came thru the recording studio that sounded a lot like you guys. I really like this kind of music and I like the way you guys play.

The bass player has one of the best sounding bass tones that Ive heard on here and chops to boot. Your drummer sounds really good although my speakers dont do him justice. The guitar has great tone also and also a good command of dynamics. Great stuff guys, Im definitely putting you guys on my music list here.

Thanks for sharing and please post more if you can.

What's up, guys? I graduated BAHS 1990. There are so few people who actually post in the forums, I never expected to see anyone from my old hometown.

Interesting sound. Kind of like early 80's prog with some fusion mixed in.

Cheers guys.

Cool, Uh, what the hell is guerilla fishing?

"Guerilla Fishing" is when you hit one of those clear/cold (and surprisingly deep in some places) streams/rivers 'round eastern Ok. The fish can see you if you just walk up on them, so you have to "ambush" them. The bait is all around (nightcrawlers on the banks, Crawdads in the shallower parts, etc...). And the species of fish are somewhat unique; "brownies" (smallmouth bass), "horny heads" (a brook trout hybrid), "goggle eyes" (rock bass).., yea, we know, the terminology 'round here is humorous. You pull up to a body of water, grab your gear, jump in, and wade/fish until you; catch your "mess", or tire out.

That, our friends, in a nutshell, is Guerilla Fishing.

Peace.

Thank you SO much JW 123 for the kind words! :D

And, What's up Scarletrust! I think our drummer is a BAHS grad too, we'll have to "strap him down" and extract the necessary intel!
The rest of us are "transplants"; by way of "prattville" and Kansas City Mo.

Peace!

Well then, it's settled! Our whole band (like there are a bunch of us-sheesh!) are life-long "fishermen". And between us, we know the waters, and make pretty decent guides. SO! Next time life hits youse guys up this way, let us know. Hell, now that we think about it..., we should have some dates down there.., hmmm.

Peace.
