your contacts look good though. :P Very cool

I have many regrets and regret having them. Not!! The fight's over, life is for living now.
I have wasted a lot of time, trying to do other professions (I went to college and had serious jobs for a while, from secretary till graphic designer (lol which comes in handy now for my own stuff, still one record cover and dvd cover up for the making, then I can devote my time to me and me alone 8)
Never quite completely happy, untill now: I have decided that music is what I want and what I am going to do, for the rest of my life. I am a much happier person.
I am working on my audio right now, actually made some nice progress today. I ahev over 45 songs sometimes I do not know which one to rehears and end up being less efficient as I would like. and recording them will take longer becasue Ia m all over the place and mostly end upo just jamming by myself, playing song after song after song, without really "studying" much. Maybe I do regret not having more discipline, but it is getting better, anyways
Otherwise my audio would be long done and up....... take care and see ya, Lony

Never ever ever look back! It dont mean sh*t. You can no more know what might have been than what will be. Never ever ever look back.
Learn from the "facts" of your mistakes not from any assumption of what you might have lost or gained, and move ever forward.
Yesterday no longer exists, tomorrow may or may not.
I harbor no shame for anything I learned and grew from. No matter how wrong it was at the time.

We played this small bar in Trenton, NJ. GRRRRRRR

So we played a little bit and this one drunk guy kept heckling us. I was even amused at first. But as we got further through the night, the guy got louder and even moved down right in front of the stage. I tried to do my best to ignore him, but as we started "Suzie Q" he started up again and I dove on him from the stage. LOL

Long story short, we trashed the place. It turned into a full out brawl and I was laughing so hard while it was going on, I never even saw the punch that dimmed the lights. I woke up in jail, I ended up having to bail out and help bail the rest. (no one has paid me yet)

The judge, seeing I had a previous record, was notoriously unamused. Not only did I have to pay the lawyer, but I had to make restitution for damages and apologize to the guy (don't forget court costs). The judge said that I should have more restraint and to learn to be more tolerant.

We are banned from the bar and I even got a lecture after the fact from a close friend of mine.

Yeah I regret that one. We should have packed it up and set the bar on fire as we were leaving the parking lot. lol

Wow...words from the wise alright...very good point...

I do have a big regret about my musical life. I began singing from a very young age, and moved into flute & picollo when I was about 12. Turns out, I rocked! I surprised myself by the hidden talent I had discovered, and I grew as a person because of it. I was even "invited" to play with an extra-curricular band that played major classical & jazz pieces and we became very well known here in town. So then as I got into high school, I had an offer to try out for the Saskatoon Symphony. However, due to many variables, I chickened out. :( (mostly because I was not strong enough then and it just wasn't cool to play flute and smoke dope at the same time...) I actually went as far as to return the picollo I was buying on lease & sold my flute to a pawn shop for $60. It's enough to make me cry sometimes - BUT I also know I would most likely not have met my wonderful husband and gone on to raising 4 boys...

So now I am BACK in the saddle & will NEVER give up on my music again! Lesson learned and one that I can share with my children as they are sharing in our music now...

i'd have to say, one of my rare regrets would have to be putting up songs on this site that didn't sound good too me at all.Evertime i put something through this busted up mic,it wouldn't sound anything like it does live, the device stripped away any tone or energy that comes straight from my amp.

Canada Steve ,
I've been checkin' your player out from time to time. No regrets. Still see good spirit in that blues tune. Some of us have to crawl before we can run. The important thing is to keep on movin'. Has your frozen ass thawed out yet?(Spring peepers are gonna freeze over tonight in my neck of the woods. Three times means Spring is here!) :D

rock and record on!
Howlin'

P.S. Looks like Ol' Howley be havin' old age moment agin'.
sorry for wandering so far off topic , hope Mikey don't get pissed on account of hijackin his thread.

I wish I would have started playing in my teens instead of my 20's.
