until you post some gig video, you remain completely unqualified to weigh in w an opinion on who's a musician and who ain't. in other words you're still NOT READY.

maybe by the time you've snagged another 15k "views" you'll have finally played your first gig. (but somehow i doubt it).

You haven't proved anything LIAR. Stealing someone's video from youtube doesn't mean jacksh!t. Just post a video of you (on your casio) and these guys playing together. You've got a phone that will record audio, you can record a video.

I don't follow. I ask what's going on because I noticed someone in this thread posted a screenshot of my profile. In addition, someone commented on one of my YouTube videos asking if I was aware of the video being used on The Memphis Monkz band page. I've tried to read through the nearly 70 pages of replies and can't seem to make sense of everything. What I've been able to gather thus far is a series of individuals continually slinging accusations at one another as well as loads of name calling. A great deal of this appears to question the legitimacy of Ready and the Monkz. I was hoping someone would be kind enough to explain what the issues and concerns are surrounding the aforementioned.

sure. this troll, Ready/ Not Ready/ Memphis 1/ Memphis Monkz doesn't understand anything about how Bandmix works. he thinks that if he goes on this forum and announces that you're now in his band, that is a fact. it is not true, however, because he does not live in reality and this is not how things work. it had nothing to do with you and you never would have noticed because he wouldn't just pay for just a one month membership to contact you like a normal "professional musician".

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'm confused because he and I have spoken numerous times over the phone and I have agreed to play. This has all been fairly recent and we have yet to get together. However, we intend to do so in a couple of days. And as far as his membership status goes I didn't think anything of it because, being the cheap bastard that I am, I never paid for a membership either which is why I left my email on my page. This appears to be rather common amongst the profiles in my area.

yeah, pretty much everyone has done that. unfortunately, now that you're on admin's radar, there's a chance they'll scrub the contact info from your profile.

I wish you good luck with this endeavor and sincerely hope this guy Memphis is not as flaky and weird as he's come across in this forum.
