This Martin: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/MD200SN3
I bought my house (20+ years ago) for less than that! My wife thinks the inlay work is nice (I don't) and I certainly don't know why they did the sides in two pieces the way they did.
This Gretsch electric: http://www.americanmusical.com/Item--i-GRE-2410106-LIST Yeah, they removed 2 pickups on purpose, and its not very pretty either!
On the other hand, I went to a Taylor Guitars 'New Model Show' last week, played a number of their lower-end guitars. I've been wanting to add a nylon string guitar to my arsenal, but money is tight. Tried a Breedlove that I had been eying online ($500) and it sounded like crap. But this Taylor: https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/114ceNV7 played like butter and sounded great. The matte walnut finish of the body is a little unusual. I wanted to get it right then - they were offering 22% off regular price for that night only - so it only would have been $165 more than the Breedlove, and included a nylon case. But my wife nixed that plan!
