Sometimes the number of hits will attract people just because they don't want to feel "left out" or they think it must be good. I know that people on Soundclick do that all the time thinking they will snag someone who will want to purchase the rights to do one of their songs. One several people there have had the same song in the top 10 for years, and they really aren't that good. But that is the first thing you see on the charts. Anyone with 1/2 a brain would see that they never change and discard them. Other than that ............

I'm telling you Dayne. Many good artists to follow, they follow you back, it picks up steam. I've been working at it for the last 45 days. Uploading fresh stuff. Promoting it everywhere I can. Anyone that likes my stuff or follows me, I give their profile a chance to wow me. Two songs is usually all it takes to know if they're worth following.

Dane,
They will Follow you!!

They will follow you wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep a mountain so high it can keep them away
They must follow you ever since they heard your tunes they know
That near you they always must be and nothing can keep them from you
You are their destiny
They love you they love you they love you and where you go they'll follow they'll follow

You'll always be their true love their true love their true love
From now until forever forever forever
They will follow you follow you wherever you may go
There isn't an ocean too deep a mountain so high it can keep them away
away from their love
They'll love you They'll love you They'll love you...

thanks schmed , this has got to be one of the dullest places to live in the world..Half Way, Mo. .. I would love to find some musicians but Half Way has a population of 173 and they are mostly retired farmers.. damn, what do I do to find some musicians? you could even luck out and find a couple musicians but then getting on the same page as what to do musically would be hard too.. need to get my passport renewed and move to London.. :D

Dane,

Do you have a local paper? You could put an ad in it asking for musicians who would like to form a band or even jam. Almost all the farmers that I know here are musicians. What else can you do during the winter months?

I just don't really feel like driving 41 miles one way to jam without a singer.. waiting on a reply from some girl singer that just moved to Springfield from some other part of the nation who said she basically was a blues belter.. me and Robert would at least have a core then.. from discussions I can't convince him to assemble a smooth jazz band.. it seems like blues is ok in his book though.. think I'm goona burn a bunch of cd's off using my puter and just start handing them out to strangers at the grocery store and such.. Mr. Gilchrist got a cd last Saturday at the sale barn, yesterday at the sale barn he was there .. he is older than me, and grew up with the Everly Bros. in Shenandoah Iowa..he plays a little but has run his thumb into a table saw while making birdhouses for re-sale and his hand is now pretty much stoved up..I see him at auctions all the time
