And just how do you propose doing that? If you penalize people who have business overseas then it only raises the price of goods and services so those with the least money are hurt the most. If you aren't aware: Business will not pay import duty taxes. They simply add them onto the cost of the product and the consumer pays them. And who pockets the tax money that you end up paying ? Do you suppose that it will be divided among you?

Is it not written that a man plans his way but God controls his footsteps? All authority is appointed and filled by God. God puts a man in position of power and wealth, it is not of their own doing. God created the rich man as well as the poor man. A man should mind his own affairs and keep his nose out of his brothers blessings. They are also Gods creation to do with as he please, either for good or for evil. A man should be thankful for his own blessings rather than oppose God for the blessings that he has given to others.
In so many words, busybodies should get their noses out of Gods business and stop trying to rule their brother for the blessing God has given to him. Even the beggar should give thanks to God for what God has given to him, for even he has reason to be thankful.

I tend to agree with Badstrat that these are the words of communists, appealing to the envy of capitalists. In a perfect world, I would agree with you but it has never worked out that way in world history. The large corporations aren't the reason your taxes are high. It's the non-productive class who consumes government handouts without ever paying into the system.

When taxes are raised that money usually goes into the pockets of politicians and payoffs to the cronies who got them elected, making the situation ever worse. Frankly I don't care when someone else is greedy....like say Bill Gates or Steve Jobs....because they employ people to get there. Rather have a nation of greedy billionaires than a greedy government taking all profits through taxes and then spreading misery equally.

If you gave everyone in America a million dollars, the poor would be poor again in a year and the rich would have turned that into 20 million. As my favorite songwriter once said, "Money can't buy you love".

Loopholes, deductions and keeping your own damned money where greedy politicians can't get it is far from illegal. It is only the greedy politician that calls it fraud, yet those very things they harp on are legal within the tax codes. Whenever someone tries to hold on to what they have earned without the government financially raping them you think that is a crime. It is not, if it were those people would all be in prison. They have a right to protect what they have earned, the key word being earned.

When God hears brother complain against brother for what he has he does not look favorably upon those persons. They are spoiled and greedy in their hearts and their mouths expose the greed within them.

It has never bothered me as to what one man has and another does not have. It is none of my business for they alone are stewards of what God has given them and for me to complain or suggest it be any other way would make me a busybody. And what is a busybody? One who attempts to take stewardship over that which God has not appointed him steward over. That is also pretty much the definition of witchcraft, forcing your will over another persons choice.
God gives me the right to help the poor, but I do not have the right to take something God has given to my brother. Neither do I have the right to complain about him.

I do not remember all the screaming about the wealthy until Marxist/ Communist/ Socialist politicians and their spawn made it a big issue with the greedy gimmie gimmie crowd. Hidden drug monies are something else, but legally earned monies by people who worked hard to get it is another matter.

As I said before, scripture reveals that it is God who makes a man wealthy or poor. Do you recall Jesus demanding that the people take the money from the rich and spread it among themselves? Do you recall Jesus condemning any man for being wealthy? Do you recall any scripture demanding that any man give up his wealth from Genesis to Revelation? Jesus may have suggested it to the rich man to test him, yet he did not say he had to do it.

Politicians who demand that the wealthy give up their wealth are corrupt to the core. They prey on the greed of others to fill their pockets just as Yod wrote.

Business provides jobs, and jobs that pay have been dwindling at the same rate that liberalism/socialism/marxism have been rising in America. What is the point of creating wealth if the government is just going to take it away to support illegal muslim immigrants, or lazy crack addicts, or anyone gaming the system?

As a business owner my entire life, I can tell you that it was regulation that shut me down, and that was before Obamacare multiplied the regulations.

IF you really want to ease the tax burden on the middle class that starts with accountability in entitlements. Americans are generous people but that has been taken advantage of.

One wealthy American has made it his job to do what no politicians have ever tried. Without money he couldn't have challenged the system. If he can make Washington accountable to the people, then we might listen when they talk about making successful businesses accountable to Washington. In the meantime, that is all we have between us and the Soviet Union.
