I suppose Megadeth was one of the worst I've seen. It wasn't their sound, and they played the songs perfectly. The problem was that they just stood there in one spot the whole time like a bunch of statues. It was boring.

Soulfly has awful sound on more then one occasion. Max plays a 4 string tuned down to B and even A. So the sound gets really muddy when they perform live. People who tune down that low need to really pay attention to their tone.

I saw that Tool was posted a few times as worst shows. Man they were one of the best. Great sound, and phenomenal performance. The problem is their style of music can be boring and slow to those who don't like it.

well i am an active metal fan and see as many concerts as possible i would have to say rob zombie the band was kicking ass his stage show kicked ass his vocals horrible the man must have forgot his lyrics or he just dont care also tool is one of my favorite bands last year i seen them again the band was flawless like the other 15 tool shows ive been to but for some reason every show in st louis maynard the singer just hates us and refuses to sing or he doesnt sing the lyrics correctly out of the 15 shows i have seen them every show they have played here maynard should just sit down because you could literally hear the crowd sing more then he did i have also sent them questions asking why it always happens like that and have yet to get a response so my follow up email is if you book a show and perform like sh*t dont come back id rather hear the cd then see the sh*t i paid 45 $ to see i honestly wanted my money back

I have to agree, it was Foreigner.... They sucked twice, ole Mick couldent sing after 5 songs. I think everyone else was bolted to the stage.

Four idiots opened for Van Halen late 70 or early 80. I cant remember if they even played the instruments, just have this vision of three of them swingin cheap assed swords over thier heads saying something no one could understand. When it ended David Lee Roth walked out on the stage by himself and shouted "What the hell was that"! I think the best part of that whole show was the chicks on the front row with shirts off. Man that was worse than The Little River Band.

i think it was 1989 sunrise theater sunrise fl. uhhhhhhhmmmm. this is really tough but here i go . well let just prefice this by saying i took my girlfriend ( whom i thought at the time was really hot and she really really really wanted to go...........................................................................) AIR SUPPLY . It was the only concert i have been to were I literally fell asleep several times. The only reason i remember even the name of the band is because i associate it with dude black curly hair and tall blond dude with the nose. blonde dude literally turned the house light s on put a big wood throne type chair in the middle of the stage and i believe he began reciting a play that he was writing but had not yet finished. wonderful............IT SUCKED, for me. on the other hand.couple years later saw phish on the bigger part of that arena. That was insane. talk about the shiznit. The vibe they had was crazy but not anywhere near as amazing as the dead. saw them twice at the miami arena. iremember the first night couldn't tell ya about the second..LOL . you might think this is crazy but Madonna YES Madonna was amazing for the isla bonita tour. I went origanally to see the opening act Whom I recommend to every body(Level 42 live at wimbley stadium) level 42 was rained out and on came Madonna. 20 rows back right in front. Amazing. That was in the orange bowl in miami. I've seen alot of great bands there hereare some i remember U2 (joshua tree) ,Genesis,Pink Floyd.

I would have to say in my early teen yrs I saw a shlew of bands apart of "The Big Day Off Fest" which was a day off from Ozzfest at Jones Beach,NY. Many of the typical teenage bands played including Disturbed,Slipknot and Manson who put on the craziest show. The worst was when Papa Roach came on. Now I was a fan of them on the radio and was interested to see them. Well what a childhood let down, I didnt realize bands at that level could such.

Just two yrs ago I saw The Counting Crows w/ The Goo Goo Dolls.

THE COUNTING CROWS SUCKED. They wrote thier live show Blue Grass style and it was far from the radio tunes that made them!!... It was like a bad Country concert... Matter of fact I'm still bitter about it. Counting Crows can SUCK IT!

As of late.. The Van Halen reunion tour.

A friend of mine wanted to take his nephew to his first concert. I told him "dude, the kid is 15, I guarantee you he won't like it. Maybe it's something you'd like to see, but he won't like it."

Sure enough, the kid was bored out of his mind. You could tell he was just thinking," what the hell is this?"

David Lee Roth was dressed in a multi-colored glitter tux, complete with bow-tie, gloves, and yes, a glitter top-hat that he would constantly twirl around and try to do tricks with.
He was running out of breath and struggling to sing his songs. His "whoooow" sound that he was famous for, now sounds like Micheal Jackson and happens every 20 seconds. A smile was plastered on his face like the Joker. He just danced around like a complete jackass the whole time.

Eddie seems to have lost a step. He's just not as fast as he used to be. His sound was bad. When he did his intros you could barely tell what the song was. They were that muddy. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that it could have been the result of a bad sound tech.
His solos were sloppy (compared to his old self) and half unrecognizable, and in some cases he either cut them short or improvised his way through the last half of them. Even Eddie at his worst is still pretty good though. He wasn't horrible.

Wolfgang was ok. Going through the motions.

If it wasn't for Alex being such a baddass, the show would have been a complete disaster. That dude is still sick as hell. Stole the show. Phenomenal.

David Lee Roth made the show completely unbearable all by himself. I was annoyed with him from the very beginning. And the tickets were $75 for the cheap seats- $250 for front floor sections.

Worst show I've seen in a long time. <<<< I wish I had a glitter font to write that with.

In 1980, I saw a Heart concert in Phx. They were great , but the openning act - Autograph, sounded rotten. Several people booed, being a musician who felt sorry for them, I remained composed. Truly, one hit wonders and gone - another hair metal band bites the dust.

"Turn down the radio" Autograph.....bet they didn't sign many.

I saw Deep Purple about 3 months after "Made in Japan" came out. They had supposedly just come back from Japan...but the singer I was there to see, Ian Gilliam, had LEFT THE BAND!!!!

The band rocked but I HATED the replacement! He didn't have the range or the showmanship...pathetic...of course I'da been a lil overwhelmed if I had to replace Gilliam , too...wow what a voice!

I saw Live & Counting Crows at Hershey Park...the bands were great but I'll NEVER go to Hershey Park again...lil metal chairs in a football field with all the ppl standing up on them so I couldn't see or even hear the bands...we went to the bleachers & there they were looking like lil ants!

Horrible experience!

Hersh Memorial Colaseum in Shreveport has poor acoustics but that 10 year old kid with a big bag of weed was quite generous and that makes up for it.
