I called it a long time ago. He's a classic case of English as a second language. I can understand the grammatical and spelling slip ups. I will never understand what this guy is talking about in regards to music.

*cue the insults, Not Ready Memphis.....

My sound and style are out of bounds and beyond your scales and theories, Socrates.

no.

they're not!

your so called "sounds"...playing root position 1 3 5 chord voicings for every chord is not any kind of "style".
what it is is how people learn to play aand conceptualize an instrument and music. and it is something to move beyond as soon as you are able to.

but you still play those amateur voicings making you sound like a very stiff and robotic beginner. it's not JUST the snap to grid sequencing that makes you sound stuiff and lifeless.....it's also your basic lack of understand for anything but the most simple and rudimentary (and BORING) voicings.

guess what, mr. Soul Man.....theory/ scales/ knowledge of harmony and voicings DO matter. you just don't have the ears and taste to hear that yet. and it's likely you NEVER will.

i feel bad for you...you're missing a whole world. a whole universe of something as TRULY cool as hip and interesting chord voicings. damn, what shallow level of the pool have you been wading in that you've missed out on that whole world???

any real and ready keyboardist or for that matter....any REAL musician on any instrument oughta know and understand that.

try to catch up.

You cant get it mainly because you can't do it...I mean play it...can't get all those sounds together alone.

please see above!

dude i could play all that simple and basic butt simple 1 3 5 root position chord vcngs after about 6 mos of playing! and any decent musician has that simple sh*t wired pretty early on if the're ever gonna get it. there's no "magic" to any of that butt simple sequenced boo-$hit you're trying to pass off as anything more than what most people could figure out at a keyboard workstation within what,....6 mos????

I really don't need a band. Playing live is no different. Just stop listening so hard. You're such a fan.

you know what....i have to sort of agree. YOU and a BAND have no need for one another. You should never be in a room with a band as they shouldn't have to be in a room with you.

i don't think there remains ANYONE here who still might believe you are CAPABLE of making actual music w actual musicians. Instead you DO music type stuff on a computer w a keyboard workstation that pretty much does all the playing once you PROGRAM IT.

that's fine...that you're not a REAL musician. but if we take that off the table and just look at you as someone putting together some "cool beats" for you how do you like to say it.....your "vocalieses"....duuuude...those BEATS wouldn't have cut back in the '90's....they sure ain't exactly SLAMMIN' for todays standards either, are they Mr. Kool Ray Mempster?

you're not ready.

if you wanna get real....

get real about where you are...and where you THINK you can go w what you have. and get real w how you present. your "present" needs a lot of work, pal. cos talk ain't NUTHIN' but talk... when you have zero to back it up with,

Nothing wrong with my english or my music. You don't understand because I'm not your average musician. I'm not you. That's ok, though. I'm not suppose to be. I do more and get more results. Hadn't heard anything from you but small talk. Facts, not insults. I know what's good and what's... not just like I know who can play and who can talk. Keep talking. I'll keep playing.

@planetguy
You love to talk. Most old men do, so keep the robot memes and long posts going in place of musical talent like a troll should. Easy music is easy to play. You talk scale, but play noise. I proved it, remember. I took your fans and called your hand. You can still get your dignity back. Play the song. Otherwise you still look like a note nerd with no backbone. Go play with your great, great grandkids...no one else will play with you.

no argument from me....you most certainly are NOT the average musician. No, you're WAAAAAAY below average!

You love to talk. Most old men do,

that's what people w something to say do. they talk. and if they're any good they communicate. w their words. and with their music.

sometimes it might be short or sometimes longer. that's how it is w those who have things to say.

you on the other hand are at least as equally long winded as i ....but you, you simply go on and on w/o ever really saying ANYTHING. nothing about MUSIC! and certainly you say nothing w your computer generated, stiff as granite, stick up the arse, midi mindlessness.

(well, maybe you are saying this..." I AM A ROBOT. TAKE ME TO YOUR LEADER")

really, what do YOU have to say around here? nothing but your oft repeated mantra and pathetic cry for attention.... "look at me!" ...."look at me!"...."Please. look at me!" this is how you measure your "success".....w numbers of views!

as we know, and as your "forum" proves...people do like to go to the zoo to stare at the chimps. and it's a fact (one you demonstrate) that sometimes the chimps like to throw their feces around at those the chimp feels is mocking them.

(i know you're not too swift on the uptake, so let me explain...YOU'RE the chimp in the above analogy!)

most if not all the non bot views that you cherish so....it's not because you're interesting. exciting. or that you have anything even REMOTELY musical about you.

it's merely that people DO look at you the same way people can't help but gawk at circus freaks. people look at you as they would at a train wreck or bad car wreck.

people look at you the same way that Austin Powers can't stop looking at a mole!

"MOLE!!!!"

You talk scale, but play noise.

i talk, play, live, and breathe music......but it's all rocket surgery to you because you don't have a clue and you lack understanding of the most rudimentary basics of what music is.

simply put, you' re a faker who plays AT music. you're not a musician. you've never played w a band in your life. probably never will.

your charade is over...you're not a musician. you're a musical neuter. a musical gelding.

now, you SHOULD get busy learning some music basics and how to play w/o sounding like a robot...but that won't happen. you're satisfied w being mediocre and you believe your lifeless and cliched bad backing trks are the $hit!

we know that instead you'll busy yourself tossing some more of your feces around at those who come here to gawk at you. Isn't that so, Mimp the Chimp?

you best get busy woodsheddin' Mimp....you have A LOT of work to do before you can call yourself a musician.

They let you in the mall? Your pic looks like you're in a garage drunk on holiday. I wouldn't let you play in a pet store. Have four identical seats, beer bum and stay outta my biz here. And stop going to my profile to hear my music if its so boring, stalker. #worstkindafan

@planetguy
Another butt hurt post about what you think that no one cares about. You're alone in a cold world. Got left out in the cold by the same ones helping you run your mouth. So you're not impressed with my music, then stop being a fan. I don't need you or your advice. Be lucky I even played anything you tried to. That's right. Cm7 blues was only beat&blubber before my version. Move past this. You look desperate to me. For attention and music. #crybabyneedanap

there was a lot of blubber on it too.. trimmed down, and your version rocked, and had commercial potential.. his stuff is over everybody's head but yet, he can not comprehend this :)

what would that be, Mimp...playing listenable music that doesn't sound like it was played by a robot?

you SHOULD care about that.....but you don't mind being a faceless robot playing faceless robotic music!

you SHOULD care that your music is stiff and lifeless and snooze inducing. you SHOULD care that Lawrence Welk had more groove than you!

Dane, it's good of you to admit that you're unable to comprehend the simple changes of a 12 bar blues in Cm and that it is "over YOUR head".

others less secure that you (snigger, snigger).....might be embarrassed to admit having such a large gap in their playing and ability to hear simple chord changes. :)

and while i do understand those changes are above Mimp's and your pay grade....still, you shouldn't speak for "everyone". afterall, jook had no trouble understanding and defining the ins and outs of a 12 bar minor blues!

in any case....it takes a big (or dishonest) man to admit that. say, do you need me to write that tricky and confusing 12 bar form out for you again???? :D

perhaps when you move to Memphis, you and Mimp Chimp can take lessons w someone who can lay out those changes for you guys. It'd be good if they can also work w MC to learn him some of them REAL jazz voicings!

seriously....you guys really should be able to comprehend something as simple as a 12 bar minor blues w/o getting lost and confused.

that simple and straightforward blueprint lays it out clean and nasty.

sorry, dane.... no one's buying that a simple 12 bar blues has you stymied...

and that begs the question.... if you actually understand the nuts and bolts of the song....then why do you keep pretending the tune was confusing beyond your comprehension?

sorry, buddy....that kind of schtik just comes off as dishonest, petty, and cheap. :(
