You gotta get that done, dayne. Bio and photo to start, then we go from there. Need help? Let me know. PS..dont let anyone else hear that jamacian song. Erase it, now.

Wait no longer. New music is now on deck. Check out "cm7 jazz" now. I'll also be revising "just cool" later on next week. Until then..enjoy.

FAKE MEMPHIS1 BUSTED!

The MIDI file is from a old web site with free jazz MIDI files available.

Your recording is from a computer using the windows midi sound files.

The rasp and the hum is coming from not grounding the computer with the recording device.

FACT

Memphis1 is a fake and a lier!

oh SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSNAP!

now it all starts to make some sense and we see why Memp has zero video to share!

and now it makes sense why he was whining about not having a roadmap of the changes on something as simple as a C minor blues!!!!!

yeah...those changes are just SOOOOOOOOO hard to figure out w/o a chart!!!!

BUSTED!

ready, don't sweat it about the Cm7 thing..I winged it, after analyzing a listen or two of it, and thought it will take quite some time to figure out all the changes.. the bass runs, would need to be converted into related chords.. too much work and time for not to be paid..

Memp wrote:This was passed over, not a pass around...mainly because it had no standards for any musician to follow. If you knew structure as well as you know scale, the song would have had more add ons. [uot]

You and rg made noise together, I made music.

more lies and subterfuge from the faker.

I had to laugh when dane was beefing about needing the "changes" that i was playing on a 12 bar Cm Blues! And this was AFTER i HAD provided a road map detailing what was going on!

But i wasn't gonna to bust him on that silliness. You on the other hand...

Here's the roadmap that I DID provide. Memp...Your lamebrained assertion that i don't have the where-with-all to explain anything I play is more of the usual BS you toss off regularly and why you've made yourself a pariah around here.

Planetguy wrote:OK...i just recorded a bass line w Cm jazz blues changes.

I just did this one take and not crazy about it, so no one's gonna hurt my feelings if it doesn't make the grade and you want me to take another shot...

...and i played a little melody up front when the bass enters. It seemed a good idea at the time but now i'm not so sure!

Whoever wants to come up w a head (melody) for this, you can either double up the bass melody, or after it completes it's once around and starts walking, you can then play your head there.

i'll also record a Major blues in Bb...that's the key Cajundaddy requested.

if anyone likes this version and wants to work with it.....here's the lay of the land for what's going on:

it's basically a straightup C minor blues w a Dm7b5 G7 turnaround.

at around 1:58 i play an Eb7 D7 Db7 Cm turnaround 8 times that takes things up to about 2:22

the drums go by themselves (i think we should leave that as just drums!)

then we're back to our blues progression for a few more times around

and after the last time around at around 3:58 i repeat the Dm7b5 G7 a few times.....then i play my head again at 4:09

4:24 to end is just vamping on Cm7

and if what you hear is the bass line just "playing scales" you clearly have tin ears to match your tin foil hat!

and Dane...and Memp......because I'm such a nice guy and more than a little frightened that you guys can't hear the simple changes of a 12 bar Cm Blues.....let me lay it all out for you.

Memp... if you ever do play w other musicians you really WILL need to know how to play a simple 12 bar minor blues form! Check it out Dane....these are the elusive changes you claimed to have trouble hearing!

// Cm7 / Cm7 / Cm7 / Cm7 /

/ Fm7 / Fm7 / Cm7 / Cm7 /

Dm7 b5 / G7 / Cm7/ G7 //

"Casio Boy"...ok Casio Corp. Send me my endorsement now please. Thank you.

@planetguy
Your posts are getting as long as your runs on bass. lol "Cm7 blues" died in DEC and I brought it back to life. Deal with it. Dayne tried to play over the madness and got grilled for it so bad he removed it from SC, so it died with you (murderer) lol Try learning to dribble before you pass the ball (I slammed it) I've played, playing and will play with other musicians. Will it be you?...not at this rate. Stop plucking and start playing.

@rgmixproject
Your pathetic. Nothing will convince you I got the skills I'm using time and time again, so why bother. I'll just keep jamming while you keep jawwing. You'll stop before I do. No lie. lmao

You be the judge. Go to BM, find Ready(me) and listen to my new tune "Cm7 jazz". Nobody buzzing (and stinging) like Ready. Stay tuned.

Hey Memp.....are those tricky blues changes starting to make a lttle more sense to you now that i've spelled them out for you?

I bet you can find some midi files of the 12 bar minor blues form for you to practice with to get them down!

(you know ...just in case you ever do get to "jam" w anyone other than your mixmaster Casio!

if you want to hear a real musician playing over the changes check jook's version.

Wow. You seem angry to me (lol) calm down before you get a stroke. You're too judgy or too emotional right now. Relax. Its just a pass around. Chill, man. Your panties are showing. Nobody cares about your feelings in here. We talk with music, not about it. Keep your notes, beefs and gripes. Play with style and leave the rants to the crybabies. Don't be such a fan. lol

mike, i can only hope you're saying that because you've never heard the trk w RG's drum and my bassline.

Sorry, Mark. I listened to about 10 second of ready/memphis' track, that's all I could stand, the sound was so bad. I knew the backing track sounded different, but thought he had started at some mid-point of it, and the horrific sound was just due to the playback/recording method. Of course his 'excuse' that he only posts the 'joe' sound here is as feeble as his attempts to make any good music.

and it seems like once again you're off your meds, Dane-gerous. (see, i can call names too!)

dane, it's most telling and really...who's surprised that you're the only clueless boob around these parts kissing that faker's ass and believing he's the real deal?!!!

how friggin' clueless and desperate are you to beg him to set you up! that truly was some embarrassing shite.

no one has forgotten that you're the same pinhead, who naivelely believed that your fiasco w Jesse Jim Bob Redneck was a great situation, and that you were gonna make $200-250 six nights a wk playing shitty versions of "Gimme Three Steps" and "Sweet Home Alabama" w that hillbilly who couldn't string two notes together in tune!

Your friends here all tried to tell you that was smoke being blown up your dumbass but what did you do.....instead you took it as slight and went on a Jihad! hmmmm, does anyone ELSE see a discernible pattern????

Good luck in Memphis, clueless one ! And pls don't forget us little people when ya make it big w NOT READY! 8)

and what would i be jealous and envious of, clueless one?

Not Ready's impressive way around a Casio Workstation????

How he uses stock midi files to "write" his "compositions"?

His super hip hot tub jazz mixmaster tunes that sound straight out of a Ramada Inn?

His impressive "people skills" and ability to get along w other musicians?

Or perhaps his great marketing acumen as he scours the BM classifieds to invite people from all over the country to call Jasir for mor more info????

Maybe i'm just jealous of his impressive resume and all the great killing bands and musicians he's worked with!

Dane....you are one clueless mofo. don't ever change, bro! (as if you could!)

how are you so sure that memphis and I are only toying with you? it gives us some sort of entertainment?, I am not speaking for memphis, but as long as you will never know, whether we are being (as you say) "dishonest with ourselves" then you can't make judgement on somebody based on your preconceived ideas.. LMAO!

it would not surprise me at all, memphis is rolling in dough, and could be the owner of Stax Records, just playing around with people who claim to be bad ass musicians but spend their whole waking day here, accusing others of ineptitude ..LMAO
