Most major/minor acts I know, are a wee-bit better at marketing and advertising. If you have a manager that posted here, I'd fire him/her, he/she suks @ publicity !

Sanshouheil - listened to your stuff. Now i understand why you're taking offence to what I'm saying here.

Look folks... its realy easy.... all i need is to find 2 good musicans who will travel mainly in GA, NC, SC, VA, FL, NY, NJ and out west from time to time. You need to be available for Friday and Saturday travel and back Sunday. You will be playing with an all pro group with 5 cds under their belt. Who are signed. You need to be able to write. The group in question are HEAVY ROCK to ROCK-METAL 80's style all the way!! In our 80's act we play Skid Row, OZZY, Whitesnake and so on. We also open for top well known acts such as KISS, POISON ect..... from time to time. Musicians like Sanshouheil should not apply - sorry... don't mean to be rude but you're bring it on to yourself. You're not our style - BUT GOD BLESS YA anyway!!

Your recordings not of great quality but I can here your solid.... as for us.... not really what we are looking for. Don't get offended. Every band has their own thing going. Yea.... I can respect what your doing. Would I hire you for studio work .... HELL YA!

The guys we are going to replace.... are still with the band. We have to honor contracts.... Therefore, I cannot disclose who the group is. You being a professional, I'm sure you would understand that.

First - I didn't ask for an assesment of my abilities from you, I don't know ior respect your opinion especailly in an open forum - have some class about yourself and your private venture OK. If your here to shoot people down because they don't fit your were a touring band rock-star criteria, a criteria your being completely vauge about then grow up!, most people here don't have an interest in touring anyway or your critique of their abilities and talent.

Lets get a glimpse of your talent, huh? how about an MP3 we can here?
I know plenty of touring "WEEKEND"bands that positively suck!!!
Especially hair band heads.

Second - recordings were not engineered by me, that isn't the priority to my MP3 demos. Although my best friend owns one of the studios you listned to and can blow you away on guitar or bass.

Third--OK, yes I understand about commitmnets and contracts, but if your advertising , you are going about it the wrong way. First - contact your management agency and have them do your leg work.

And my God,, advertise where professional working musicians are looking & located - Use Billboard Ads Homer.

Forth- Most "working" bands have several players who can fill in or fit in, hell I've down it a few dozen times.

I probably smoke your current drummer as I can double bass with one foot, i don't need two.. I have a day job that pays more than you could pay me, and you could provide no benefits or retirement income as my current gig does and I'm now 49 and have already done the 80's road thing. I am a drum instructor now and part timer.

I got a talent for spotting mouth pieces. Senor sounds like he is credible, the email address sounds like a mouth piece du jour.

And if you don't like what someone says, I whole heartedly encourage you to ignore it. Don't just post some insulting sh*t and expect everyone to take it lying down or you are heading down the same path that Mr. Hip Hop just took. If you can't read he took a fairly severe beating as well.
