You have heard this sound before but this is where it originates. Evidently a lot of people play these.

I saw/heard this once when I was working in S'pore. Not these guys, but 2 guys basically doing the same thing. Wanted to stick around for a while and see if I could figure out how they were doing it, but the boss had other ideas...

This is just crazy. Was reading the comments and it said the guy in the vid did all this pretty much on his own. It has some elements of a player piano, but goes way beyond that. Makes you wonder how folks come up w/ stuff like this.

I'm w/ you re: adboo...er, fazebook.

Same thing with all these shredding kids who are playing along with TSO or whomever - yeah, they're fast, yeah, they are getting the tone and hitting the notes, but it's just rote - copying someone one. Music is much more than that."

Yes, I agree to something you said.
Sometimes music is about loving what you do so much that it occupies your life completely. It is about having success in the field you love, having people offer to make videos of your original material, it's about playing to packed venues, drawing thousands who want to see, hear, and admire your skill, it's about landing big endorsements with top of the line companies, it's about having the utmost admiration from the best musicians in your country, it's about being in demand for recording sessions and all the rest that goes with that. It's about loving what you do and having fun while all the rest of the benefits follow. It's about loving it so much that you don't care if anyone else knows what you do. Sometimes it is simply about your love for music while the rest simply comes with your passion.

I have no idea why trite little nobody's who only make it on the local level, and sometimes not even that, have to attempt to denigrate someone who has worked so very hard to hone their skills to the point of perfection. Why do those who never achieved greatness always have to compare them to someone else in order to diss their talent instead of simply appreciating it.

The small minded small talent nobody's that always let their jealousy rule over their emotions always seem to be the ones who diss other musicians who are making it. While on the other hand the great musicians who have made it appreciate them for what they do.

" yeah, they're fast, yeah, they are getting the tone and hitting the notes"

Like duh. Isn't that what we all strive to do as musicians? Because they are making it big they really don't like music so their accomplishments should be disregarded? Is that what you are implying? I suppose you considered how great it would be to have the tin can guy play in your band, right? If not, why compare the two performers? Why not simply say you liked this one or that one without making an attempt to compare performances of a dissimilar nature?

And S White, the street performer has over 50+ videos on the Internet. A good many of them have millions of views. Some idiots always have to complain about her "Stick tricks" yet that showmanship is what set her aside from all the other street drummers and have them all imitating her as best they can. What exactly is wrong with that if you don't drop the beat? Crowds absolutely love it, but for some reason those who do not have that great a following have to constantly rag about it. She is endorsing all manner of products because of her showmanship, that's what it really comes down to. Go stand on a street corner and twirl your guitars. Maybe you'll get to be famous.

Watching some of those teen guitar players, such as Tina S, (ten million views) gave me some great ideas of what I could do with my guitars. Winter is cold in Iowa and they would make great fuel to keep me warm.

When a musician makes it to a certain level, why not simply give them credit for what they do instead of dissing or comparing their performances to others in a negative manner? Why the need to pick them apart? Why always those lame negative comments concerning them. Why the better best crap comments? Some musicians are so small that it really ticks me off. Especially since I have heard their performances. I'd really like to see one of their professionally made music videos so I could appreciate them more. I might even give it a "like". It might even be nice to see their millions of fans.

For the musicians on Bandmix who enjoyed Seris performances skill you can download three of her video performances free at Drummers World. They are full screen videos and they rock. I stumbled across the vids while surfing REALLY GREAT musicians performances.

Drummer World features several of their picks of her with rockin bands in multiple genres, in order to showcase her talent from Hendrix to Jazz. The musicians she is drumming for are smokin.

The link below takes you senri's video downloads and performances. Every video displays her drumming skills in different genres. Jazz, Rock, whatever. Seri is ranked among the best of the best by accomplished drummers world wide. You two should watch them. Perhaps you can find other reason to diss her incredible talent and have the opportunity to compare apples and oranges again. I wish I could download every one of them for an anytime I want concert.
