wouldn't it be cool if a group of us here at BandMix turned into a sort of a Leiber & Stoller outfit.. we all start getting big-time royalties in the mailbox? solliquoying out loud!

I loved that minimalist approach jook.. kinda like Japanese Garden thing.. raking the sand is the most important task

I guess I will pull my version down, no comments = it's out of tune or sucks..

actually I was getting antsy to work on Cm7 blues/jazz thing, but must wait for next musician to add a part.. so I settled doing a first take slide guitar part on Schmeddy's with the Tascam DR05 cause I was too lazy to crack open the Ableton Toneport UX2.. there is a lot of action on Schmeddy's Slice & Dice so must keep a minimalist approach.. but I will pull my version down I guess..

Dayne, I haven't heard it yet. Leave it up. You can always make a track private for a while if you don't want people to hear it. Change your mind? Make it public again.

I love the stuff you added Dayne, but you gotta get some multitracking going bud. That's a pretty weird mix.

I think the rock track we did a couple of weeks ago would sound better if we could cut out that 15 second Bd section.
I'm still not happy w/ that one but that's just me.
Dave would have to share it or do it himself and I don't see him around.

I'm rocking that one daily. solid contributions from all involved.

10-4 Schmeddy on breaking out the DAW, I will (if I get time) transcribe the slide guitar notes I created (within reason) and do it over with a DAW using basically the same notes and will be able to cull out a few flubs too.. maybe play less notes

Not that anything that I had played on the mando and dobro was "all that".... but i give you big points for the respect and space that you played with to allow that previous stuff to breathe and maintain it's own place in the hierarchy.

Then again....that's exactly what i would expect from you...not slathering and spraying YOUR stuff on what was already there.

I'll try to add some of those faux horn parts tonight if the inspiration hits me so you can move it down the road. Still waiting for more feedback on the Funkgrass tune. I appreciate your generous critique!!
