i dig it! i think i can hear what that aluminum brdg is contributing to the tone picture.

there's nothing wrong w the way that tone sits by itself, but i'm betting it'd sit really nice among some other instruments too!

OK Mark. I decided to do some recording to dial in some tone so I recorded this-

I first ran EQ on the board and amp flat to get a baseline tone and recorded that.
Way to bright for my tastes. Then I came up w/ this. Flat EQ on the board but I bumped all frequencies on the amp below the middle to 1 o'clock. I kept the middle @ 12 o'clock and bumped the upper frequencies down to 11 o'clock. I'm getting closer but I'm also getting that 50-60 hz hum. Bummer.
