Salvation is not gained by those who become more moral, more religious, take religion to its highest level, forsake certain vices. No, the kingdom of God is not gained by anything a person does. The kingdom of God only opens to those who are born again; or the term again is anothen in the Greek and it means “from above,” “down from above.” You have to be given life from above, and that’s not something that you can do spiritually any more than you can do it physically. The kingdom of salvation, we said last time, opens its doors only to those who abandon all human effort as a means of salvation, who cease trying to earn their way in and literally are born from above by the power and will of God.

Dayne ... very interesting Post and totally unanticipated. It brings up all sorts in my mind ...Salvation, Redemption, the Catholic Church, the Jesuits, The Black Pope, the antiChrist, Satan, Islam and the belief that it is the ploy of Evil to lull the Christians into the idea that it will all be over soon, so why struggle, just accept your fate. And in light of this the Truth is thought to be that struggle absolutely because that is precisely what the Creator wants to see in Humanity.

So ? Dayne did not take credit he merely posted it. No ... he did not quote a source but more importantly he did not sign and date it either. You miss the entire point of his Post. But then what is to be expected by someone who posts "Calvin" pissing on a Calvanist Post. You seem a little defensive like Haley said and more concerned with discrediting others than perhaps you should be. But that is only my little opinion.

previously i would have been inclined to give this poster the benefit of the doubt....but that's no longer the case after he lied and misrepresented something i said....claiming that i personally bragged to him about creating false identities to mess w glen and haley.


that never happened but still, i wanted to believe he wouldn't just offhandely lie about something like that. i wanted to believe it was him remembering our conversation wrong....but when i showed him our email exchange in which he asked me if i thought glen or haley was posing as willy ...that email exchange clearly showed that i answered "no, that i didn't think they were."

and that was the extent of any conversation about false identites

no apology or retraction came forward. and that demonstrated to me a clear lack of integrity and honesty.

who on this forum does NOT know that when you cut and paste someone else's work you make note of that

Planet Guy ... Honesty and integrity always matter I agree. I respect your take on it but thus far Dayne has said nothing so I suggest we wait and hear him before condemning him of something I feel is not worthy of any outrage. I have spoken my take and you yours ... of course we do not wholly agree but on the main issue we do. The copyright police will deal with if it is of any significance ... but posting something does not mean you are taking credit for it. Not long ago "The Pledge of Allegiance" was posted among other things and there was no outrage. Perhaps this is a "personal" matter for you and others involving Dayne, for mr it is not. In my opinion it is that thing called making a mountain out of a mole hill ... and of course that does happen here often it seems. I feel we should let Dayne "Live" despiter the severity of what others seem to be making out of it.
