Pete, I'm hopeful for that also but don't count the chickens until they hatch. Mark has expressed good will towards the new administration (mixed with some cynicism) and I think we should accept that as sincere.

Trump is a rookie playing the 85 Bears. Yea, he's Ezekial Elliot and Dak Prescott combined...but he is still facing a team that wants to derail him.

I, too, am a little concerned with some of his choices for their naivety. How will they handle the progressives in Congress (on both sides) who will not go quietly into the night? Then there are the alt-right bullies who have his ear. Steve Bannon will be a lightning rod of controversy that will give the Dept of Propaganda plenty of material. I don't know how Trump has dealt with an anti-semite in his circle when all his kids are married to Jews?

But Trump is good at making a team greater than the sum of it's parts....and people do change sometimes....so we'll see.

I haven't seen you even admit any of this much less come out against all the lies and corruption we've seen the past 8 years. Of course I don't know why I bother to respond at all, you're not going to ever admit the truth....

Ted - Some good points there. Trump is a rookie facing a lot of opposition, I've noted that several times too. I like that last line, he is good at making a team better than the sum of its parts...but what he does best is run things. That's what I'm hoping will make all of this work out for the better.

The failure of the DOJ to deal with the IRS problems, Hillary and her email server, Fast and Furious and a number of other situations can only be explained by corruption. Yod, I think Trump is simply being Trump and if he continues this course then there is most definately hope. He stated early on that he does not believe in revealing his plans prematurely as it gives the enemie an advantage. He seems to be keeping to this but I do believe there is method to his madness ... he has a plan and only Herr Trump knows it.

Leading up to the "election" he took all sorts of mocking, insulting, and criticisms ... kind of like getting attacked by several Planet Guys at once. As I see it the biggest threat to Trump lies hidden and will be revealed between now and when he is inaugerated. It is simply ASSASSINATION.

He must be very very careful and those near to him as well. Threats have somehow been tolerated by the "media" and this is not a good sign. So it pains me to see him being bullied, and it reminds me of the Trumpies who were bullies in the primaries to MOST of the people who just recently voted Trump. If Trump had not changed that course, I doubt many would have voted for him.

The bullies who have ridiculed us for 8 years are not happy about losing their position. If we engage in responding to their harsh words, it gives them justification to continue being our enemies. It would be better for everyone if we were the adults in the room. Let them vent and just smile, knowing we will fix what they've broken. Some of them will see that they've been lied to and switch sides, if we don't run them off with our gloating. That doesn't help the nation or Trump.

Geeze guys. We are in what some call a major 'turning,' and what I call a historical moment. Not based on the US Election but the dynamics I see happening world wide. Anything could happen and probably will. For thoughtful people this could be fun. And it could be terrifying. We'll see.

Unfortunately a majority of them will never quit trying to take away the constitution and the amendments. That hasn't changed from the beginning. They will always hate the things that give them the freedom to express their hatred for capitalism and the American way of life. Their loyalty is to their father so they can not and will not believe the truth that America is for everyone and that they are only limited by their own inability to take advantage of the opportunities set before them.
