Man.... Where are all the musicians that care about their look??
Does anyone have an image they care about??
Is there anyone who want to tour on weekends??
Anyone out there who loves to play 80's rock and roll???
Anyone want to make some money???

I've never had a harder time finding good musicians who want to play, have fun, make money and tour....

Last question... Anyone like to open for big acts like KISS, CINDERELLA and more????

All I can say is show me the money!

Before someone can show you the money... you need to show you are worthy of it. The money is the reward and if you're in it ONLY for the money ..... more than likely....I dont' think you'll get far. There has to the love of music. Money don't make an artist write songs that withstand time. In my opinion... it's love for the music.

So back to the question.... looks like there are only 2 people who think they are and have what it takes. I haven't heard or seen anything that has 100% convienced me yet. Show me your worthiness and things would be shown back to you.

I am not a drummer unfortunately, and I live in L.A.
I wish you good luck with finding what you need. I love love all kinds of music, yes the 80's rock!!! But I am a singer/songwriter, currently living in L.A. and it has been hard for me to find a band becasue there are a lot of real talented and nice musicians out there, who do want to work with me, but mostly to play and sing their own material. Which I enjoy, but I just miss my own songs. It seriously takes up all of my time, even when doing covers.
So I chose the solo path with my acoustic guitar, waiting to scribble a budget for some studio recording (and I have some 50 songs that happened to me and came while fitting my old poetry to cool melody lyrics)
It is fun because it is exciting and scary. But it is nicer, playing with pals.
But I simply cannot do two bands, halfway. I prefer to do one and as devoted and well as I can........
do your best and do what you love and love what you do!!!

The boys from New York and Tennesee could do what you need and then some but neither one of these gents are fool enough to spend the cash it would take to travel to an audition based only on a suspicious post claiming instant star status. Perhaps you should make a serius offer insteat of being disrespectfull. Seem I remeber you were the one crying about musicians being disrespectfull. All this cloak and dagger wont get you a band. I personally think your just gonna yankin somebodys chain.

jw Ive played her some( got it today) and am very excited, tons of variations of sound possable from this thing. If i stop bleding long enough I will play on her some more tonight. Band practice tomorrow is going to be a hoot.

First SansHouheil - I've asked when people have inquired to send a link of a live performance. I even have gone as far to tell them that I want to see them play (3 particular songs) . No one needs to spend money to travel for an audition. This isn't 1972. We have computers and internet. We're all pros here, we can tell if it's worth moving forward on to the next step. I understand the cost of gas and stuff.

I also am not going to shoot myself in the foot naming the band right yet. Like I have mentioned .... We have contracts signed. Now...like I have said many times before... if interested, this is what we want to see. If it's not for you... that's cool, we can respect that. But to be considered.... We need to see something. It's easy stuff and every musician should have something electronically to post.

oh another thing.... I never said anyone would have instant star status. My friend it's all in what you put into your would is what you will get out of it. If your the kind of guy who just show up... plugs in and plays. You'll be nothing!
If you want to be a team player.... dang... that could take you anywhere. Devotion my friend... you need devotion.

We have opened up for big bands. We are signed. We have 5 cds out. are we rich... no. But still working on it.

Sanshouheil - listened to your stuff. Now i understand why you're taking offence to what I'm saying here.

Look folks... its realy easy.... all i need is to find 2 good musicans who will travel mainly in GA, NC, SC, VA, FL, NY, NJ and out west from time to time. You need to be available for Friday and Saturday travel and back Sunday. You will be playing with an all pro group with 5 cds under their belt. Who are signed. You need to be able to write. The group in question are HEAVY ROCK to ROCK-METAL 80's style all the way!! In our 80's act we play Skid Row, OZZY, Whitesnake and so on. We also open for top well known acts such as KISS, POISON ect..... from time to time. Musicians like Sanshouheil should not apply - sorry... don't mean to be rude but you're bring it on to yourself. You're not our style - BUT GOD BLESS YA anyway!!
