No.

There are no details about me or my music that will change your out of tune intonation and rhythm problems.

You should listen to Planetguy's track
... he plays very very well, very good intonation, swing and articulation, an example you should learn from.
Your claim that he is out of tune is further proof of either your, jealous dishonesty or just plain ignorance.
this just sounds phony, who says "plays very very well" it would sound more natural sounding to say "very well"?.. you just seem like an odd duck that sounds like a planetguy cheerleader or something? have you met him? if he is as good as you claim him to be then why is he playing pizza joints for food and beer compensation? why?

and playing simplistic as he calls it "jazz music" ? why can't he play a fast run once in awhile? you know take a chance once in awhile musically?.. you make progress by challenging yourself, like I did just jamming out something you says has mistakes but at least I challenged myself..eh?

Heartbreaker is on Led Zeppelin II. :?

At least Zep did not try to pass it off as "free jazz'!

oh Einstein, do you realize that tune was created within an hour both parts, and that it is not like I have rehearsed it over and over, it was a second take run thru.. in other words, I expect their to be as you say, rythm problems and articulation problems since it was created on the spot as something jookey and I could mess with, maybe it is too rough for jook, but I would bet if I run through it a dozen times and actually compose something rather than improvise something it would clean up nicely..just wanted you to know it ain't a Larry Carlton cover tune I have had worked up for years or even months.,.just so you know.. :) :)

It is the maturity of his musicality.

He has obviously met, and overcome many challenges as evidenced by his ability to play, not just one or two, but a variety of instruments well enough to gig professionally.

He does not often play fast and flashy, but PG sounds 1000 times more like Pat Martino than anything you have ever posted.

Challenging yourself will only help you to progress if you are able to recognize your mistakes and weaknesses so that you can learn from them.
Evidently, you have failed that challenge ... BIG TIME!!

he sounds no more like Pat Martino than a man on the moon.. link me to one tune he does that even comes close..Planetguy, he sounds like Planetguy.. and that's why he plays truck stops and pizza joints

I do you know I have ever posted any tunes? that tells me you indeed have been a long time member but so ashamed of yourself you constantly change your handle here.. does eating turtle soup on the bay of cortez ring a bell.. that's always got my jollies off listening to that piece of work :D

one last thing and then I'm done, if you are that is.. there aint been one thing me or generally anybody that has posted, that planetguy don't find some fault with.. even if you don't ask for his "appraisals" he will still reply with something generally negative but once in awhile that appraisal might be bumped up to a "neutral" rating. all you have to do is go back and read the Jesse Cole James Russellville post to see almost a two-faced like comment, the 1st one saying they all suck except for me? .. does that sound natural to you? wouldn't we all suck? or all pass as marginal?.. it's always this or it's that, the tone sucks, use newer strings they sound like sh*t, your chord is squeaky, you have an out of intonation guitar, etc. I always swallow it, and move on, but this last comment, ?what happened to if you don't have anything nice to say don't say nothin? unless you ask for it, maybe it was my fault, since I was a little uppity and over rambunctious about the new jam Yuk Yuk Contingency, but the detractors won out :D

I did not say PG sounded like Pat Martino, but that he sounded more like him than anything you have ever posted.
Even the man in the moon sounds more like Pat Martino than you do!

If you keep practicing every day and work at it hard enough, you might one day progress to Planetguy's level and be able to get a gig too .... with something other than a delusional hillbilly garage band, 60 miles away, playing Skynard tunes. :P

there are many that disagree with your analysis of planetguy, in no way does he deserve anymore that what is being dealt out to him right now, cause he is definitely not top shelf .. he is solid if that means anything.. your advice means nothing, because you hide and disappear and for all I know you ARE planetgut acting like the Wizard of OZ behind a curtain

Sounds like an old guy playing ... he's maybe about 10 years older that PG?

How old are you? I guess you grew old without maturing ...
Maybe you ought to give up the jazz posturing ... get some leopard print spandex pants and join a Foghat tribute band?

well, if you idea of jazz guitarist benchmark is planetguy then the Spandex suit might not be a bad idea
