That's because he has been a Democrat all his life. He only ran as a Republican because, as Bernie knows, the fix was already in at the DNC.

Unlike the truly ignorant partisans, he finally had to admit that the Democrats are the problem, but there is no love lost between him and the GOP either. Which is exactly the attraction that many Americans feel towards him.

The biggest difference between him and Hillary is that we don't actually know whether he will be horrible or great.

With Hillary we can predict abject failure in every area, which is why the American people will elect him.
