if you buy into the notion that music is a language (and i do)....since music IS about communication, because we like to hear what an instrumentalist has to 'say'......and because good players "speak to us"... then why would i be impressed by someone who speaks very fast????
nah....that's a good skill for an auctioneer perhaps, but anyone else who's trying to "say something", to "tell a story"???? not so much so. YMMV
