So you've thrown in the towel and have no hope for the future??? You're doing EXACTLY what they want you to do. Sit back and give up.

Perhaps as to one who does not understand what is truly going on that may be the appearance. Especially if they make up their own "between the lines" assumptions. However, to one who serves the living God and understands that He is the one who does everything according to his purpose it may perhaps be seen as not fighting against what God has both shown and informed them as to what He is doing. Look around you. Has God put righteous men in power at every level? At any level? After all, it is God who both makes the position of authority and then fills it. It is God who puts forth both the blessing and the curse upon a land. I see us as being under a curse.
Perhaps you should read my posts closer. I simply elaborated on what is clearly going on, and these things can be observed with anyone with eyes to see. Exactly where in my post did you read that II was raising the white flag in surrender, and where in my post did I say I was going to take up arms against those who God clearly has put in power for his purpose? Stop reading between the lines where nothing is expressed one way or another. The trouble is that people try to read something into a sentence where there is nothing, and then they run with their assumptions and even sometimes embellish upon that which was not even implied in the first place.
I see things for what they are, not as how I wish them to be. I sometimes see things as they shall be.
Is not the prayer of the Christian "Come quickly Lord Jesus" ? And if that is so is it not necessary for chaos and lawlessness to come upon all societies of this world first? If God were to say pick up a gun and defend liberty would I not do that? And if God said do not meddle in what I am doing, would it not be for me to not meddle?
If it is written " If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints", then who shall resist what God has ordained? ( Rev 13:10) He who does not have faith and endurance can run for the gun, I will wait on the Lord as to what I should do. My place is to listen closely to Him who is in command, not to decide on my own behalf what I will do or not due when the time arises. I will wait on the Lord for that.
