Initially, my thoughts ran along the same lines as Plilbymon's. Give the slackin' little weasel the boot. Unless they are exceptional frontmen (or women), in the live performing mode , I've never had much desire to pay a cut to somebody that "just sings" and can't even play an instrument.
However....
After giving your music a quick listen (I'll check it out closer later) it sounds like you guys are tight! Establish a leader in your band, (someone everyone respects). Get a consensus from the group. Confront your singer. Offer an ultimatum. Jordan sounds like a good singer who has contributed much to the band in the past. He deserves a hearing.
Use good judgement, you guys have an excellent band going, and you all deserve to git playin' out.
Well first, thanks man, I'm glad you dig it. Secondly, as far as the leader thing goes, that'd be me. I actually write 98% of all the material. But its great because the dudes usually love and its easy going during the writing process. If they don't like something, I don't freak out. We usually just change it. We have had many talks with Jordan. Believe me I don't want to do anything rash given the kids talent. But nothing seems to change. I also think that we've got a great thing going here and thats what really makes this hard. Thanks for the input though guys. It helps to just talk my thoughts out. And something I just thought of, this isn't just me thinking this. Me and the other 3 members are all on the same page. As it is now...we're going to kick him out. But is this the right decision? Thats the question to end all questions.
