Music is a wonder ! I believe that no such wonder in this world other than music. Composing a song to impress the audience is easier said than done. Equal effort is needed for writing the lyrics as well.

I have stunned going through some lyrics from albums incomplete, In the End etc. They are meaningful with respect to my evaluation. There some lyricists who focus on love, The Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green Day Band. It is really a talent to win the hearts of millions of people around the world.

How to write a good lyrics according to the music composed? If you are a musician, then let me know it.

With a lot of today's current crop of indie/alternative band's lyrics seem to take a back seat to the repetitive nature of the songs to make them memorable to the ADHS audiences.

Are you asking about writing lyrics to already-composed instrumental music? Takes a particular mindset. I write the opposite way - lyrics first, then the music, then the fine tuning.

My lyrics almost always come first. Here's a tip, the door opens much wider when you forget about your own deeper feelers and write your songs from the point of view of some character or as part of a story. The sky's really the limit then.

A lot of good players do start with the music first. You'll have to figure out which works for you, if you write enough lyrics you can often find a lyric that matches the song or close enough.

My ex would never believe I really didn't write those songs from my own point of view and figured I was a sick, sad puppy... 8)
