ebay has a lot of les paul copies from all over, i think you might have some pretty good luck there.

Try an AGILE guitar - Korean made and extremely good quality (better than the China made EPIs) - comparable to Japanese manufacture - for about $369 (this for the AL-3100 model CSB, for example). I have one (I also have two Gibsons, 3 Schecters, a Hamer Standard, etc.). You may eventually want to upgrade the pups, but the body and ebony neck are totally tits. For pics of mine, take a look here:

you are right about that I have one also I replaced the pups with Rio Grande Big bottom humbuckers and rewired and installed new gibson pots and hardware I put 300.00 into it and dam what a guitar I wouldn't take nothing for it and Ive had a few pretty good guitars in my years.
