genre? you're asking the wrong person. i understand you're trying to market your stuff under the "right" category....but i never spend much time trying to figure out what "genre", "style" or tidy little box my stuff goes in.

You do say, in your profile, that you 'recorded with merle ....' No music samples (even if you sold the rights, you still can access recordings), no equipment, nothing but a drug habit to offer - get yourself dried out, get a job, buy a guitar and get back to work. AIn't no one gonna take pity on you at this point.
