like the saying goes, "if it was so easy, everybody would be doing it"... I agree.. life is hard, life is not butt-simple except for the elite born into their money and wealth & life of privilege .do not look down on even the most destitute, SINCE YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH.. maybe a father who beat them for not eating their oatmeal within 10 minutes early in life, maybe beat for wetting the bed? don't look at a homeless person thinking he chose to be homeless! his mind perhaps warped by a crappy upbringing might be to blame?. Buffett has written books about the luck of being born into the "correct" families, with a silver spoon in your mouth.. and it ain't butt simple to be so lucky as to be born into these few and far between "correct" families..

Interesting point Dayne ... Butt ....those who survey the landscape from atop the mountain are and should be able to understand it and make moral good decisions and take Right Action more easily than those at the bottom. I have no sympathy for the scum or their offspring. As we are the direct product of our Ancestors then so are they. Long ago man strayed far from the Spirit and embraced the "flesh". Now a Great Judgement approaches and there will be no excuses for anyone, each will be responsible for their actions and inactions. The day of the hippie is long past and peace and Love are no longer relevant. But this is only the tiny little view of myself and therefore it pales into insignificance contrasted to others ... at least to them.

It is no longer a question getting your house in order but one of getting your Spirit ready for your physical Death which is getting really tired of waiting it seems. Although well intentioned i believe you are blinded by your immense empathy and misdirect it somewhat. Nevertheless a good thread as it creates thought in perhaps a different direction than normal. butt-simple is a term I would use for taking a crap in the morning, eating dinner, digging a ditch.. I think some people forget how much effort and work went into something that SEEMS butt-simple but they have forgotten that muscle memory has changed their brain into BELIEVING it's butt-simple..
