True fact- Limbaugh got hooked on this song and used to play it on his radio talk show all of the time!!!

Soy un perfedor!

I'm hooked on it too

I though Beck was brilliant with a lyric...but have you seen his live video of this?

Hmmmm....not so great.

He probably wasn't getting ay plays anyway. This is his new "Meet the press" promotion."

I take it from your post that you are a hillary supporter, right? That's all good.

Amazing how a BandMix post gets diverted off topic by the first response. :)

I thought he was talking about Beck Hansen.

If you hear Rush Limbaugh say something outrageous, he said it.
If you heard or read that he said something outrageous, it's probably a fake quote. Media Matters does this to him daily. I don't love the guy, but sheesh! Back up your claims, man.

Glenn Beck is on his way out and it's not pretty. I think he's an ok guy, but this job clearly is too much for him to handle.

"I don't love the guy, but sheesh! Back up your claims, man."

Oh, So you figured out what the post was about? :)

It was said over the air on Glen Becks broadcast during a discussion of Brad Thor. Hard to print an on air interview without quoting someone. Look it up, it is all over the Internet not just on a liberal rag. Watch one of the youtube videos of the broadcast that are also all over the place. Beck appears to be loosing it these days which is sad. I listened to him for quite some time but during this election cycle he has gone off the edge. "Sheesh" Don't be lazy look it up for yourself. Pick any one you choose to view.

"When Trump was trying to get the Evangelical Right vote, he said in an interview "money is the root of all evil"."

Yes, the donald has a real problem when he begins to "quote" scripture. :)

Those who served the living God of Israel were some of the wealthiest men in Biblical times. Wealth and Godliness are not always in opposition.

Solomon was rich and wealthy as heck, but he also practiced a religion of Baal or the Canaanites? plus the fact God in a roundabout way chastised him for these poractices.. so we are back to square one, Money and Mammon is a lesson Jesus preached about and for sure Jesus was not a follower of the "ways of the world" = wealth privilege, honor, etc.. :)

Would you also care to comment on Abraham? Money is not evil, it is the heart that God judges, in both the poor and the wealthy. :)

yes Slacker, I am shooting from the hip, but I believe Abraham was from the land of Iraq and was a transplant to the Israel area.. I also know that the jews stated a lot of things in the Old Testament that had their doctrines based out of Babylon, and they (the jews)were not necessarily the originators of many of their "ideas" ..

"I didn't just fall off the turnip truck, Slacker.
Nothing wrong w/ wealth if it does not corrupt the soul.
Some people can handle it, most can't."

A bit overly sensitive there?

I didn't imply I was quoting or responding to you in any way when I made my post. Neither did I consider anything you had posted while replying in this runaway thread. Did I somehow subconsciously accidentally quote you in my mind? My apologies if I did.
However I am happy to hear that you did not just fall off the turnip truck in case you also perceived that in some manner II somehow assumed that you did. :)
