Should the seat of a toilet be left up or down?
Some could interpret the seat being up as a chivalrous act to prove to women that men don't want them sitting on a wet seat.
Some could interpret it as an uncaring act of male selfishness.
If a women doesn't put the seat back up, it could also be interpreted that she don't care about the next woman that may end up sitting on a wet seat, or the man that may have to attend to more serious business.
Some could interpret it as laziness of a man to not put the seat back down.
Should it be decided on the basis of gender?
Let's ask, is a mans house or a womans house?
No, that would be silly and start a sexist war.
Surprising our president and lawmakers have not weighed in on such an important discussion.
Maybe laws need to be passed to encourage all men to sit. To prevent evaporation and air pollution it should be required that the full lid be left down. Maybe laws need to be passed requiring men to aim better...
Who wants a job on the first national bureau of potty police?
To confuse matters even more... What is politically correct in a transgender bathroom? Should urinals be installed in transgender bathrooms labeled for "women only"? Should automatic seats with sensors detect wether the seat goes up or down?
This has gotten to be a very complicated issue. We need leaders that will provide a solution to this massive problem.
