Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis took the Led Zep Houses of the Holy album cover photo. I liked the LZ 3 album cover with the rotating disc and all the little cut-out holes - you could spin the thing around for hours (after smoking a few numbers) and be entertained. That cover was designed by Zacron.
Roger Dean's stuff was just surreal. he designed the stage set for the last Yes tour that included both Rick Wakeman AND Jon Anderson. (look for the 'Live at the Tsongas' videos/DVD) - incredible huge inflatable and moving space blobs and stuff. Glad I gave up acid long before I saw that show!

Do you remember Cheech & Chong's 'Big Bamboo' album cover? It looked like a giant pack of rolling papers, and inside there was one huge rolling paper (no adhesive strip, though).

That's one of the most common finds among used records, after Innagadadavida. Always missing the rolling paper.
