We got philosophical and wondered what was causing everyong to be so virulently angry. Politics? Yeah...but why? Both sides and the middle come up with 'proofs' and network news peddles bullshit by the barrel full - all apparently designed to make us angry at each other.

Because of the same thing that happens on this forum (as I have repeated dozens of times): "He who angers you, controls you"

It's the Dictators M.O.

Use a person's anger to turn them into a perpetrator for your agenda.

Our topic today was what the heck can we do to ratchet that down? Are people going to shoot their neighbors over some political candidate?

How do we return to civilized discourse? We didn't come up with an answer. I hope there is one.

We start by not following those who are promoting anger and violence. Fat chance when the choices we've made are Hillary and Trump.

Nope....looks like we are in for at least another 4 years of infighting.

Hey Mike....I'm headed to Montgomery, Birmingham, and then Roswell by Saturday night. I'll have a couple of days before I have to go to Carolina if you want to go fishing or whatever.

Let's jam, bro!
