I feel for the Prince fans and all, but it's getting a little hard to be online and be deluged with this avalanche of mourning for him. All the sudden, he's the greatest ever. I just don't see it.

I never was a fan of his. Yeah, he ripped up that lead in While My Guitar at the Harrison tribute concert. I just never got into his music. I just listened to Purple Rain, When the Doves Cry, Little Red Corvette and Raspberry Beret (arguably his biggest hits) while checking out the tabs at ultimate-guitar, because I'm heading to my friend's gig tonight and he always calls me up to play the last set with him, and mentioned he's going to do a bunch of Prince songs. Simplistic is the best way I can describe the songs. Chord patterns repeat over and over again in each song, usually only 2 basic patterns. Never a bridge. And the sound - a lot of noisy mixes, IMO.

Purple Rain may yet fall ...http://www.infowars.com/special-report- ... ord-execs/
He was not afraid to speak his mind on Chem Trails and the Evil in this world ... and might of died because of this. If so he is a Hero.

" Was Prince Murdered By Illuminati Record Execs?"

-Yupper............. No over the top conspiracy theory there.

He had been using opiate based pain killers for a hip injury since 2010. That seems long enough to get addicted and start abusing them.

Late pop icon Prince reportedly received drug overdose treatment just six days before his untimely death at age 57 on Thursday, reports TMZ.
Prince’s private plane made an emergency landing in Moline, Illinois on Friday and the singer was rushed to a local hospital. At the time, representatives for Prince said the singer had been battling a severe case of the flu.But according to a report from TMZ, Prince received a save shot at the hospital, medication used to treat opiate overdoses. The singer was reportedly advised to stay in the hospital for 24 hours, but left after just three when his request for a private room was rejected.

He was fun to watch on stage, no matter what he was a great showman.. Never listened to any of his albums but I enjoyed his guitar playing and arrangements except for the lyrics. To watch all the media crap playing bits of Purple Rain several times in every segment you would think that was the only song he ever recorded.

Did he ever write anything about his woman (or Boy George) running off and leaving him and taking his dog with her in his pickup truck?

Yea, I'd love to see a poll on how many of his records those teary-eyed folks actually bought?

I got addicted to hydrocodone in the 80s for a couple of years. It's easy to do and I wouldn't have gotten off by my will. I can totally see how he would be addicted to them, and you don't realize how high you are, so you keep taking more and more and more...
