I watched a video on IPTV this morning showing the "modular constructed" new homes, shops, and high rises of America. They are prefab homes the size of shipping containers. Great way to make everyone equal. These one room homes are a kitchen, bedroom, living room, office or whatever. All the furniture transforms as needed. Couches are beds, an end table turns into a dining room table, and so forth. The best thing is you can get the workout you need just by converting your room into what you want it to be at the time.
You get to live in a box in Neo America. Now isn't that just what socialist America needs? That is where we are headed, and that is where some other countries have already gone. High rises can be constructed within 48 hours using stacked one room shipping container dwellings.

Not even room for one of everything that you now can own. But no big deal because 4 homes could fit on a 1/2 lot where only one home can fit now. Welcome bernie / hillary land where we are all happy and no one but your leaders are forced to live in luxury.

A very interesting program on the direction of the Neo Socialist States of America. For you Socialist / Marxist / Communist supporters, your dreams shall come true! Vote demoncrap for a future of equality. :)

On the up side? It is said that over 80% of accidents concerning older citizens happen in the bathroom. No problemo. Now you can crap in your living room free from disaster. :)

Nothing new, but they are providing housing for people (mostly 3rd world) who might otherwise be homeless.

Some of the freestanding homes made from them look pretty good!

I downloaded a pdf file that shows some neat ones, but most still look like boxes. The IPTV program showed a few that were high end boxes that actually could be lived in if you were a minimalist. Most still look like stacks of boxes but as long as you could have more than one they would be livable. On the TV show they had a woman who made her own. Hers had a "living room" book case shelves and when you spun it around there was a bed on the other side. But obviously it had to be extended in the section by about 2' - 3' more than the rest of the box or you couldn't spin the book case. I'm sure that some environmentalists would want to limit the number you could own down the road.. The pdf isn't very big but it has a lot of great photographs. Two or three together in the proper configuration could be roomy. I would need one just for storage. A single one would be great for a "getaway" near a lake or in a wilderness area. .
