Once, when the Turks (as they called 'em back them) were at the very gates of Vienna, Martin Luther went into a fasting / prayer regimen when he was asked to lend his support to the war effort. He was not keen on violence and knew politicians were behind most of it anyway.

But after two weeks Dr. Martin determined that they had to be stopped. The German knights with a lot of Polish help got it done. (I'm mixing a few historical metaphors here to make a point)

Personally, in this latest eruption, I don't think they can be stopped by Western leadership. We don't have any 'knights' these days. It should be simple. I know professional soldiers from all over the world and have yet to meet one that has any respect for the Islamics prowess as warriors or for their organizational capabilities.

We in the west will be defeated by our willingness to accept leaders who are not worthy to clean the sh*t off the shoes of the better men who came before them. They combine gross venality, with personal cowardice and although they think they are brilliant, they are a bunch of bloody incompetents. Just my opinion of course...

When a cartoon of Mohammed with a bomb in his turban was published in Denmark, Muslims all over the world rioted, protested, and murdered innocent people over it -- because it was an insult to Islam.

Obviously, Muslims are not shy about protesting when something angers them they go out and kill people.

Orange County’s Muslim leaders strongly condemned the attacks in the Belgian capital of Brussels, Tuesday, that left at least 34 dead and about 230 injured. At the same time, they called for positive action in response to the bombings, for which ISIS claimed responsibility.

After the Islamic State claimed responsibility for Tuesday's deadly terror attacks in Brussels, more than two dozen Louisville Islamic leaders gathered Tuesday night to condemn the attacks and urge the public not to link all Muslims with terrorism.

Muhammad Babar, a Louisville Islamic leader with Muslim Americans for Compassion, said the Muslim community was "shocked and appalled" by the latest attacks and hoped to avoid a public backlash like the one that followed extremist assaults in Paris last year.

"It has broken our hearts," he said. "We want to send a message to our fellow Louisvillians...please...do not see us through the actions of ISIL...we are as American as you are."

Alongside nearly 30 Islamic, Jewish and interfaith representatives gathered before a bank of news cameras outside the federal courthouse, Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer also expressed solidarity with attack victims and urged "acceptance and compassion."

"When they see their religion hijacked in the name of extremism, it's just painful to everybody," Fischer said.

I am beginning to feel like a pre-WWII German citizen, say around 1932, I am starting to drink the Kool-Aid, and I hate myself for doing it.. it sounds like ISIS has sent 400 terrorists to Europe and the terror has just begun by the sounds of things..

don't want to sound prejudicial, but never have understood why so many Muslims emigrated to Europe in the first place? I am not talking about the latest round of refugees caused by the war in Syria, either.talking about the ones that have been there for many years. the weather is better down south so why are they moving north? anybody have an answer?

I feel so much better now that 30 some Muslims don't want to see Lutherans dead but over 11 million do.

It's to easy to blame those racist, too big for their britches Americans and just let anyone into the US until we wind up like Europe!
