I made 0.0000000 dollars off of them but the thief got rich. and I even paid 14.95 way back when for a POS premium bandmix account. Contacted them about the supposed theft and they said since anyone can listen to your songs that there was nothing they can do. I have been posting my drivel and bs on their forums ever since. The sooner this unsecure site gets shut down the better. same for reverbnation soundcloud, and bandcamp. 2 views means that TWO people could have stolen your song. Contrary to popular belief if you have a really good song (not like the ones I say suck on here all the time) views are not a good thing each view is a potential thief who is going to profit from YOUR song, and since YOU gave them easy access to it there is nothing copyright law can do for you sadly. The best thing to do with your songs is to record them to CD send them certified mail to publishing companies and wait for the royalty checks to come rolling in. Which if you have a really goo song they will!!!
hire a good lawyer, and hope to get justice my willie, sounds like you are saying you can prove your tunes were stolen, complaining to bandmix or soundcloud is not going to cut it? is it? if you had your songs protected should be not a problem in proving who truly was the creator of them? also consider yourself fortunate that you were blessed with the talent to have good enough songs that were deemed good enough by a thief to grab them, and get busy writing more tunes.. i'm 60 years old and over the hill, so I do not have aspirations like when I was young and overly enthusiastic on how easy it would be to "make it" in the music industry.. I at now a later age, am now more prone to think, you make it in the musical industry because of WHO YOU KNOW, rather than what you know.. also it is pure luck if you ever get a chance to rub shoulders with real power to distribute your tunes and create the HYPE and BUZZ necessary to get millions flocking to buy your records.. talent almost does not have anything to do with "MAKING IT".. this is all my humble opinion of course and not necessarily backed up by scientific facts..
