Trump on his very worst day would be superior to anything that has nested in that hut since the masters murdered Kennedy.
I have to agree with that.
Trump is doing what the people have wanted for a long time. Telling the truth, with no apologies. He's facing backlash from every side, Democrats, Republicans and the media, he's lost millions in business deals, and won't back down. I've never really liked him but I do like what he's saying, and I have no doubt he'll do what he says, unlike every politician I've seen in the past 50 years.
I thought at first maybe it wold be a flash in the pan, but after seeing how much it has already cost, he's still not only not backing down but turning up the heat, I think he might be in it for the long run this time. I don't think anybody else will do a thing to turn this country around, and we're headed in a really bad direction. Illegal immigration was never supposed to be part of this election, everyone else was going to say as little as possible and hope nobody noticed. One person has changed the entire focus of the campaigns.
But that's not what everybody is mad about, it's a smokescreen. It's another comment nobody will even mention, they can't because it would show their true fear.
Politicians are all talk, no action.
That's what has the campaign looking like a stirred up hornet's nest. Everybody hates that, he said in his very first campaign speech that politicians in general are incompetent. They can't even say it because soon as they did it would bring more attention to it. Notice it was a couple of days before Republicans started to jump on the bash Trump bandwagon? They had to figure out what to focus on instead of the one biggest truth he told. The media was on it from day one, anything they could think of to discredit Trump, general Trump bashing as expected. It took Republicans a day or two to figure out what specific angle to attack from.
So they decided on his comments about illegal immigrants. Which were true. The southern border is a mess. Criminals are coming across the border, 90% of all the hard drugs in this country come in from Mexico, even the underage girls coming across the border last summer were being raped in large numbers. The immigration problem didn't start with Obama, who prefers to call them "undocumented workers" but he did make it a lot worse, and he has done absolutely nothing about border security.
Trump simply spoke the truth. We have a huge problem and nothing is being done about it. Now that he has started to tell the unvarnished truth, politicians are swarming like angry bees. But it's their own incompetence that caused it, he said so and that's what they really don't like.
It's about time someone decided to speak the truth. Trump does it and makes no apologies. It's cost him a lot already, and will cost him more and he knows it. That's what happens when you tell the truth in Obama's world. I just hope he has better security than Obama does, his lets people get into the White House...
Like it or not, Trump is just stating the facts. Everything he said in his initial speech was true. Every bit of it. I think he could have made his comments about illegal immigration a bit more clear, the way he said it let people imply that he meant ALL illegal immigrants. I don't think so. He also implied that Mexico is sending them here. I don't think so. They are encouraging it if you read between the lines, but not actively telling people to come here. They certainly haven't done anything to stop it, but watch what happens if you go into Mexico illegally. Ask Sgt Tamoreesi about that...(not sure I spelled his name right.)
All the politicians don't give a fig about illegal immigration...or it would have been a major issue long ago...they're pissed because he told the truth about their own sorry asses. Illegal immigration is nothing more than a smokescreen.
