Just ordered the Marshall JVM 215c and I am soooo stoked! I have been looking for a good versatile combo amp and have decided on this one. Great for smaller stages and figuring I'll just plug it into my Mesa 2x12 cab for bigger stages. I'm all giddy with G.A.S. on this one! 8)

Looking at that amp it got me thinking about your equipment. Do you have it insured?

I saw this ad when looking at your new amp for $150 a year;
"Your equipment is on the road as much as you are, and you need to know that it’s protected wherever it is, 24 hours a day, seven days a week anywhere in the world"

Mike he could always get a two-wheel hand truck at harbor freight for 30 bucks or so to move it around :D

Dayne you have a good memory! I wanted a combo amp for smaller clubs as we are starting to play more of those type gigs. I still intend on playing through the Blackstar it is a head that I have to carry a speaker in with. It is British made. You have to be careful when buying Blackstar most of their gear is made in China.
I have a two wheel hand truck I bought from Home Depot in 2005 for $80.00 I don't buy anything from Harbor Freight their stuff is JUNK. I don't blame other folks from purchasing tools from them I just have learned over the years go ahead and buy the better quality now pay the extra $. If you buy from HF you'll likely be buying it again very soon lol!
The new amp is all tube. I think Jim Marshall recognizes that you just can't get that tube warmth from a modeling amp. As a result they have been working toward getting as close as possible with tubes IMO they have done it with this one. I have to say after playing it at a full gig last night the Balckstar will likely be my backup amp! :D

My bandmate got a Blackstar combo. It's pretty sweet. Mean tone.

If he paid under $1000.00 most likely made in China. Same sound, cheaper components and craftsmanship. I hear of them having lots of reliability issues.
