and I take full responsibility for it.

It was originally a shout out to a guy calling himself "all acoustically".

I'm desperately searching for a like minded musician in Vermont

(or there abouts) and I was too cheap/cautious to plunk down the $9.95

to contact him directly. Although it seems there are some with eclectic

tastes that I can relate to, I don't know if I'll find a local collaborator here.

The dropping acid comment was meant to be teasing jab at former Dead

Heads (like my dear husband). The petty banter was brought about by

the reasonable misunderstanding that I was shouting out to all.

Sorry for the confusion, I am learning to be more specific.

Don't sweat it Dye! I really do feel ya when it come to desperation. I got fedup with people not contacting me, so i put up the money for a 3 month membership and still haven't found anybody yet. I don't even get a reply of "no thanks, i'm not interested." Dont worry though: Detication, Motivation and finally Desperation will hopefully find you someone with similiar enough tastes. Keep Lookin and keep makin music!

Hink with all due respect, I think that is a popular cop-out. Whether we want to admit it or not, under the penumbra of the art form we call music is a huge range of flavors, tastes, genres, disciplines or whatever you want to call it. Now yes, it is true that they can sometimes be mixed and matvched for some interesting fusion projects, that doesn't negate that they are indeed still distinct types of music to begin with.

Just this man's opinion, but I have often found that "do we have to label everthing" is often translated into reality as "I have no idea what I want or how to go about it". I'm going to rebel against the zeitgeist of ambiguity and say, sometimes in order to grow, you must have the courage to define.

Well, I shelled for contact privilages on 8/17. So far I'm batting 2 out of 12. Not so bad I guess, but both are 2 hrs away and not really practical to work with regularly with gas what it is. We did promise to get together at some point tho. a half dozen in my hometown won't bother to answer.
Dunno, maybe they think I'm some kinda flake or wannabe cause I havn't had the time to post any clips. Seems like if they went to the trouble to post here they'd be willing to take a chance. Makes me wonder if they are the flakes.

I will get some clips up. Heck I just got me some software to do it loaded.
Seems like its always something. Next week gonna have some workers in the house so I'm farming out all the instruments to friends for a week.
Don't want anybody comming back and cleaning me out.
