Taylor Swift won Grammy Awards for Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the year for '1989' and for Best Music Video for "Bad Blood"

Alabama Shakes took home Grammys for the Best Alternative Music Album for "Sound & Color" and Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance for “Don’t Wanna Fight"

i haven't watched or given a flying leap about the grammies in yrs.

that said...it good to see Sco and Chris Stapleton getting some acknowledgement that will perhaps introduce them to a wider audience.

i dig stapleton though i much prefer his less commercial work from when he was with The Steeldrivers.

I've never paid attention to the Grammys.

Isbell's "24 Frames" is 'Roots' genre? I wasn't sure where to lump it, I do a solo version.

I listened to the Alabama Shakes album one time. Recorded, mixed and produced very well, but I found the songwriting to be mediocre.
