damn, they're dropping off left and right!

MW, drummer/percussionist/vclst was a founding member of Earth, Wind, and Fire. i was introduced to him thru my father's record collection....MW used to play w The Ramsey Lewis Trio and dad had a copy of "Dancin' In The Streets" that i wore out as a kid.

i saw ramsey about a yr ago and he autographed that album for me.

here's a cpl of tune w MW playing w RL.

YUP... Anyone remember when Jaco Died? His real name was John. Anyone remember when he was born? Sorry to be so callous... We all live, then we die.
It's how we deal with all the stuff in between.

Glen...did you make a wrong turn and end up here by mistake????? :D

Jaco...aka John Francis Pastorius. I remember well when he died. I was informed by a bandmate at a prct that very day.

i 'spect this is gonna be more and more a commonplace occurrence, seeing musicians we grew up listening to and admiring shuffling off the mortal coil. everything that exists in time runs out of time someday.

Obviously you made a wrong mistake the day you were born. You sound like some one afraid of death.

That is what happens to people with no God.

Hadn't heard his playing Ramsey Lewis before, or didn't know it was him if when I did.

I liked him best playing in The Pharaohs ...
