I appreciate that you're passionate about this subject, as is nearly every human being on earth. That does not give you the right to force your views and "morals" on others, especially me..

There are laws against killing innocent people and you have this morality "forced" on you every day.

There are thousands of cases of parents killing their born children and being arrested, going to jail, etc...


So really, the only question is whether that child is a human before it comes out the birth canal. Science proves that it is, and therefore both science and the law prove your position to be one of willful blind hypocrisy.

What is right and what is legal are different concerns.

It was legal to own a black person in the country for a century. It's legal to rape a non-muslim in Islamic countries. It was legal to kill a Jew of any age in Germany, Latvia, Ukraine, Poland, and Lithuania during WWII

I notice that all who are in favor of abortion are currently living and have never gone through one.

Actually I believe the limit is 20 weeks, and you will be surprised to know that I support a much shorter window (0 to 2 months). One day science will allow us to determine pregnancy almost as soon as it happens, before the zygote is even a fetus. Does the morning after pill also offend you?

Your morals may be different than mine. That's why we have laws. But it seems like some of you want to defy laws you don't like. There are other laws to remedy that.

You have never heard me advocate for breaking any laws. Period. I understand that a civil society has laws that advance wickedness, yet I am commanded by the bible (Romans 13) to be a good citizen and obey those in authority, just short of idolatry.

Ya know, even on my nights off I go looking for dive bars with live music. Not sure why I care, but crusty old musicians like you and Jeff and Talbot and Smitty and even RGmix are my people.

I went out to The Goat in Dallas twice this week since coming home only Sunday. They have a blues jam every night there, and I'm probably the only "conservative" in the building. So yea, I know my views aren't the mainstream among musicians. It's been that way in almost every band I've played with too.

But as a songwriter (and producer), I've always seen my "job" as influencing society around me. Lennon changed the world, and I'm changing a much smaller world...but it is changing and I'm not going to give up on changing you, too.
