I am now at the point that I sold my v-30's last week and am picking up a Alesis mesh set.

Don't take this in the wrong way; The Roland v-30 are a much better set than the Alesis however, to me, the Rolands are kind of girly and the Alesis just Look bad ass.

No need to take apart. Just loosen the top left and right and do the wiggle wiggle.

Make sure the corner brackets are facing in the right direction....L and R

Bottoms should get the wiggles last to level. Make sure they are centered.

Its best to do the main frame all together but loose and then do the wiggle wiggle.

Then the drums will be ready for your next big smash hit. " Do The Wiggle Wiggle"

Look at the picture again. The right 'elbow' is @ the end of the arched rack. The left 'T' is NOT @ the end of the rack. You can't see this because it is hidden. There are no wing nuts on these fittings on the rack, only on the legs.

Not the wing nuts....the hex/drum key silver nuts.

so, that's Ultimate Supports stand-adge, then in that photo? That's what i use in the home studio for my malletKAT. love it there... and it's an easy setup/breakdown w just the KAT on the main tier and a three rack space rack holding three sound modules on the (bass) side/over the top. handy at home, but it's got too big of a footprint for gigs.

We use a set at the church. Someone had set up the rack incorrectly about 2 weeks ago, yet it still looked "right'. Best I remember when we got the legs in the right tees, the rack itself is not exactly parallel with the floor. The main issue I have with these things is the high-hat. I don't think a high-hat rise would be possible. I don't know how much you have to spend to get a decent electronic set, but I'm guessing a ton more than the acoustic equivalent.

I tried again this evening w/o much luck. It seems like the rack has twisted up because I can't get the legs parallel to each other. This has to be the case as the rack is arched which would force the legs to be too close together @ the feet (which is the case). Looking at the pic the rack seems to be arched up a little but I think that effect is caused by the camera angle. I have a sneaky suspicion that the arched rack should be parallel to the ground.

I'm assuming the best way to approach this is to take everything off the rack except the legs.
Then loosen up the screws that attach the arched rack to the leg couplings and twist the rack back down a bit until everything 'squares up' to the floor, then reattach all the pads. Does that sound about right?
