different is GOOOOD! i'm glad you have that to look fwd to.... there are few things that are as much fun as looking fwd to an upcoming gig playing stuff you like...with people you enjoy playing/hanging w, and hopefully for an audience of people ready to sign on!

i am so grateful (as is the rest of the hearing world) that singing has never been part of my duties!

I don't know Mark I can picture you singing "Girl From Ipanema". In fact I'd pay to see that!

oh, man....tell ya what, it takes a lot of bread to get me to just PLAY "Girl w Influenza"...but SING it? ain't NOBODY gots that much bread!

btw....i love jobim and i'm huge on brazilian music. and "Girl From Ip" IS a great song, but like a lot of great songs like, "Proud Mary" for instance....at some point ya really don't wanna be playing 'em! i did play a travis picked version of Ipanema on a solo gig around a yr ago because someone asked and i really did want to play it for her. i do enjoy playing it that way to see who else in trhe room gets it.

Listening to "Interstellar Domine" now, good stuff!
