i've been spending time on FaceBook pimping my books. I've noticed a level of vitriol in some discussions there that makes Bandmix look like a center of spiritual and cultural excellence.

Decent people should be able to disagree respectfully. Maybe I'm wrong though...

i used to be surprised when folks shot each other over bugger all. Now I'm starting to wonder why more don't...

Have to agree with JimmyD on this one - some people are better off pleading their case in the high court.

mike, this has been and IS me being respectful.

and i believe that your's and just about everyone else's version of
"respectful" is pretty much the same... big respect goes to those deserving, and less goes to those less deserving. and.... just like everything else we apply our judgments to...there's the good ol' sliding scale that gets put into place.

that pretty much sums up my version of being respectful.

no doubt. and ya gotta be thankful and happy those putzes didn't hurt anyone else with their shenanigans. i think that we ALL can agree there's too much room for collateral damage in situations like that.

what we have there is yet another, all too often occurring, and shining example of Darwinism at it's finest.

aaaaaaaand big congrats on going after it getting your stuff out there! right on.

I can't believe the 2 of you are applauding the stupidity of what was once 2 human beings... That is really a typical sick liberal attitude.
I guess it would have a completely different spin if one man was beaten to death with a bat... NO, it had to be turned into a gun thing.
2 people die and you celebrate a cause against guns. 6 million JEWS didn't have guns... They died also... SICK!

I wasn't directing that comment at you but at the general level of vitriolic discourse on the E-Media.

And thanks!f

I'm certainly not against guns. Just tools. I am against folks who start blasting away on roads full of traffic and if there must be causalities, at least it wasn't innocent bystanders.

Yeah Mike... Not only should EITHER of them had CCW... Neither of them should have had a drivers license or right to own a car. 43 thousand people died in senseless car crashes last year and every year. I think we need to do extreme background checks on any one that wants to drive. I have driven over half a million local miles under some of the worst conditions possible... The worst condition has become angry people with a 4 thousand pound bullet.

This is one little incident is not any cause to advance "GUN CONTROL". This is America... Don't FUUCK around with the guy next to you...
Disrespect has become the word of the day... Fostered by a big government hell bent to protect you whether want it or not. So much has changed... I doubt this would have happened 50 years ago.

If you want FREEDOM... You must have tremendous personal responsibility, and tolerance of all.

we are 1 liberal-minded SCOTUS away from banishment of guns.. Hillary is going to win so it's a done deal.. federal government you had better pay me well to make it worth the effort to "turn in" my guns.. :)
