Hope you're doing OK, Jeff. 11 killed in the Tornado and storms around here last night. Got kinda hairy, and I couldn't find my Tornado saddle.

Record snowfall in the Panhandle heading this way now. Don't you love the variety we get in Texas?

Doing fine here Ted, sorry for the bad weather y'all had especially the devastation. Someone put a post on fb that said something like
"12-26-15 when Texas had all four seasons in one day" lol! I have been wearing shorts, tank top, and sandals all week!

Creepy daggone weather in Atlanta. Reminds of 'Inversions' in Boise.

But some bright yellow thing has been poking out from behind the clouds so I'm hopeful.

We knew a cold front was coming. Still it was nice and we enjoyed the warm weather, record setting warmth here 80 degrees last Thursday. Sunday the front came thru and the temperature dropped 40 degrees in about 6 hrs. We are freezing here in h-town it is a low of 40 and lower 50's for highs

Merry Christmas...
Wasn't this thread all about that.
Now this crazy weather is normal... However...
I am trying to figure out what to do with this big sleigh, with toys scattered all around, and 9 dead reindeer, all over my front lawn.

Jook

I lived out in LA for a while and when I returned to Atlanta I thought it would be nice to be back in sensible traffic.

How wrong i was. btw - if you trust a turn signal in Atlanta (you'll see as many as two a day) you may die young(er).

Pretty much the same here, near 80 then dropped to 40 overnight, but it's not the first Christmas in Texas (or Louisiana) I've been running around in short sleeves. It's actually fairly normal fro this neck of the woods, then by Jan 1 it's cold usually. Ditto for Halloween, usually that's our first cold spell.

Spent the last couple of days doing a brake/wheel bearing job on a 2001 PT Cruiser, don't wanna do that again. Whatever gorilla did the last brake job put the thing together so tight I had to hammer my wrenches to get everything loose, broke the bleeder valve on left rear, have to get a new brake cylinder. Just got through with that disaster an hour ago...still not a happy camper. And this is my mother's Christmas present...my sister bought the parts, I do the work...the one good thing, I haven't busted any knuckles...yet...

Then...my mother went to my brother's place in VA, got there, stepped out on the porch Dec 23 and slipped, fell about 4 feet, broke her leg, had surgery to put a pin in it, a couple of weeks therapy, then she'll be at my sister's place in Florida for the next couple of months learning to walk again...

So it hasn't been the greatest of holidays for us, but I guess it's ok, I'm still vertical and breathing...and have a gig Sat night at a new place. Just got booked Monday, our 2nd time there, 1st time was 2 weeks ago on the night after my birthday. Working on a song now for the manager...going to be fun, I don't think we'll have a chance to practice so we'll have to try it dry. Nothing I haven't done before but I'm not sure how well the other guys can handle it...We've been playing together about 8 years total, with a long break, they're good, but we haven't done much on the spot like that. We'll see...We did a Jimmy Buffet tune, (Son of A Sailor) he asked us to learn Fins...so off we go...

Hope everyone had a better one than I did...
