You're certainly allowed to voice your opinions, but don't expect us all to sit still while you try to scare ppl off when you disagree with them. I think the Stranger guy is an asset to our forum, & I like his music. I'm not gonna join your hate brigade just cuz he brought up a subject that you don't like. I suspect that you have run off other quality ppl.

First you are picking a fight. You have no clue about the full history of the discussion. The poor guy lost his job, his home, his wife, his children, his hope. My last words to him were never printed here. They were of deep Christian concern. I have never heard from him since but my silly little prayers are that he is OK. I would directly attribute his loss to LIBERAL POLITICS.

Very sorry about your brother. As you know, my brother Jim was murdered by some freak two years ago - stomped to death in a grocery store while reaching for a bag of brocolli.

I haven't gotten over it. Probably won't. Counseling, prayer, chill pills etc but Jim is still gone.

The good news is this - time mitigates it to a degree - but just writing this has been very painful. No wonder Jesus wept at the tomb of Lazarus...

Dayne, I don't know if you are poking fun at Yod or not... Please be careful. He is an incredible songwriter up there with Carol King, Elton John, Paul Mcartney and so many others. Yod is Ted. He is one of the great musicians that I have been blessed to know. More than dealing with Mark and Vinny...

Dude, I would much rather listen to Dayne than Carol King, Elton John or Paul McCarthy and I'm not joking. BTW- King and John didn't write most of their music. Mac did but he was a vaudeville act compared to John Lennon.

Commercialism means nothing to me, never has. I don't have any 'Pop' sensibilities and thank God for that. American Idol is a joke. Real composers of art don't have a chance because they don't have a video w/ chicks climbing out of limousines and guys jumping around holding their crotches. Real artist are those guys out there who aren't recognized but do it for the love of music.
